Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elegant and Classic I am a fan of Copper in the yard and this planter is gorgeous. It's perfect for my Entryway and a real winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice home accent As others have said, the planter is a darker color than that pictured. I took the liner and built a box of plywood and ceramic tile for a base and screwed the liner to the base, so now I have two related planters. Used the large one for a rain chain water catcher and the other "liner" planter at the front door. Easy to drill holes in the bottom of both for drainage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Column Planter I am delighted to report that this item made a tremendous impact on the "curb appeal" of my deck. The rich coppery tones set against a dramatic croton plant make it an absolute WOW !!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Touch of Elegance I bought the pair of these planters - one large and one small for our condo in Colorado - Love them on our balcony - I can only put artificial plants in them as we are not there full time; so I cannot let you know how they do with live plants. I liked them so much I bought another pair for our house in Texas - I really do feel like they add a touch of elegance to both places. Enjoy!

How much does the 33" column planter weight? I only ask because on our terrace it gets quite windy and we will live on a highrise. We need something a little bit steardy to avoid toppling. Any thoughts?
Asked by: Anonymous
I placed weights inside mine as I live on the 7th floor of a condo high-rise ... .you could probably get away with bags of dirt I just opted for weighs as I didn't want anything heavy pressing on the side the metal.

How big is the hole in the bottom?

I would like to use this tall planter to hide a utility pole in my front yard. Is there an opening in the bottom and if so, how large? Is it square or circle?
Asked by: Morgan
There is a round circle about the size of a fifty cent coin.

How is the liner suspended in the planter? Would other pots or liners work?

Asked by: Anonymous
The liner hangs from the top but is still flush with the column. It is fairly deep, as I had to put bricks inside to fill it up for my faux boxwood ball. I then put fresh balsam branches inside the liner to hang down. Looks amazing, and just like the picture!

Has anyone used this as an inside planter?

Asked by: Nan
The Column Planter is designed as an outdoor planter. To use indoors you would need to plug the drain hole and use plastic to catch any extra water. We recommend using outdoors.

How do you clean and maintain these planters?

Asked by: cbs
Thank you for your interest in the Column Planter. We recommend cleaning this item with water and a mild soap. There are also cleaners specifically for stainless steel appliances, that you can buy at the your local store, that will help the shine of this item.
