Classic Everedge Lawn Edging is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Look Was looking for the classic look of metal edging you see in old neighborhoods and parks. These did not disappoint. Had a concern about the joining tabs and joined edges being unsightly but that was not the case. Looks great. And easier to install as a result of being in seperate pieces. Much easier and better looking than plastic edging.

It is made in the United Kingdom so I knew it had to stand the test of time while performing ease of installation and durability. Thank you Grandinroad for carrying this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lawn Edging The Classic Everedge Lawn Edging is working exceptionally well for us. It was easy to install and we quickly solved a problem of rain near our house running off from our flower beds carrying mulch into our draniage system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very functional product This lawn edging is superior to anything you can purchase in a large warehouse store because it's easier to work with than rigid plastics or hardwood borders and has spikes. The metal can be molded easily to the shape of your border. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect finishing touch A quality product that works well and does the job with style. Finished off our patio by delineating a nice line between the gravel areas and the garden mulch, with straight runs, bends and sharp corners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! FANTASTIC PRODUCT I admit it, because of the price I waited longer than I should have to purchase it. But once I committed and just did it, WOW! I received it, installed it, and re-ordered more within about a one hour period. Ladies, do not hesitate! You can do this. It is extremely simple. I bought a weighted mallet, a good one, to do the work for me in regards to hammering it into the ground. It bends easily even though the material is very good and heavy. Believe it or not to bend the ends in a L position for corners I just put the end between either the washer and dryer or the tiny space between the stove and counter and slowly bent it on over to the counter or washer. Simple, simple. And beautiful. So nice and clean looking. And the fact that you'll only do this once and it won't warp makes it more than worth the price. You won't believe how heavy the package is; which is a testament to the quality of the steel used. Don't overthink this one, just do it.

Re the everedge lawn edging what does the 3' versus the 5" refer to

Asked by: Anonymous
The 3" versus 5" refers to the height of the metal band that extends above the spikes.

Can regular everedge be shaped in the form of a circle to create edging around a tree (tree ring)?

I am attempting to make a ring around my new tree. I am aware that Everedge has a classic tree ring but I want the ring to be 5 inches deep and 7 to 8 feet in diameter. Can the regular 5" edging be formed into a circle to make a ring or will it tend to kink. In other words, I am not sure how bendable the edging is.
Asked by: Pusa
I love the tree ring. The straight edging will bend. Depending on the diameter of your circle, it's stiffness maybe challenging to work with and you may need to work with circumferences in 5' increments due to the interlocking mechanisms. The metal does have "memory" so once you bend vs. flex it, it will never be truly straight.

What color is this?

Is this the brown colored Everedging or is it the Cor-Ten that patinas?
Asked by: StarShine
Dear StarShine, It is powder coated brown, which resembles an oil rubbed bronze look to me which is the look I have in my home. I used a rubber mallet to tap it into place as if you use a metal hammer you will hammer off that powder coating and when it gets wet after that it will rust in that spot. I hope this answers your question. In friendship and sunshine. gardeninglover

Dimensions - total height

What is the height of the edging...Spike is 3-3/4"? But what about the band portion. Total height top to bottom would be helpful, thanks.
Asked by: Carey
Thank you for your interest in the Classic Everedge Lawn Edging. The height options are listed in the Select Size drop down.

Can this be used to edge the lawn that's next to the road?

I am looking for something to install right where my lawn ends and meets the road. The soil gets washed away and snow salt on the roads corrodes the grass etc. My plan is to install this system and then to build the lawn up a bit with new top soil and grass seed ..almost like a berm. Do I need to check with the town? Thanks. Also, it's 5 pieces= 16 feet?
Asked by: Marl
Dear Marl, first of all, yes, by all means, use it for the purpose you mention above. You may want to use the 5" wide as opposed to the 3" as I have used. Your second question is regarding notification with the town. I do not think so. I live in a homeowners association and I have not heard a thing regarding the choice of materials that I use. It's just edging, only on an epic scale. Ha ha. Lastly, Marl, you are correct, the measurement comes out to 16.5 '. But take it from me, you can't order too much. You will find places to use it that you can't know now. You will love it. In friendship and sunshine, gardeninglover.
