Delightful!
What an absolute delight! So cute, I just couldn't believe my eyes. Love them. The sound is great, the animation is very good and they just couldn't be cuter! Set up was quite simple and they were very easy to place on a tabletop or mantle. What a wonderful addition to any Halloween collection.

Absolutely amazing!!
These are the cutest Halloween decorations I have ever seen! You were sold out when I tried to order them for Halloween last year. I was so dissapointed, but after waiting 6 months, I finally received them and it was so worth the long wait. They were easy to assemble, looked adorable, sang and played their banjos perfectly. I love them and can't wait to use them this Halloween. Thanks for finding such unique products!

Big hit on Halloween
These guys were a gift from my mom and sister for my Western-themed Halloween display. Easy to assemble, they fit in perfectly with my saloon scene. I ran into trouble with them dying on me a few days before Halloween, too late to exchange them even if Grandinroad had more to send me (they were out of them). Called customer service and they were very understanding when I asked if they would still take them back if I tried to fix them and failed. No problem. One of the servos in the head of one of the players had gotten stuck and I was able to free it. Got me through Halloween night before it happened again and the exchange was hassle-free.
Couple of notes - keep them away from small children who will try to "help" them play the banjo. Let the song play all the way through and the heads return to the "home" position before turning off the power and they are less likely to get stuck. If the same song over and over drives you nuts, turn the volume down and play banjo music through some nearby speakers - visitors were amazed at how many songs the guys knew, so they look pretty convincing.

AMAZING HALLOWEEN ITEM
These Dueling Banjo Skeletons are unbelievably realistic. Their synchronized movement, along with their clear voices as they sing, will make these skeletons the hit of your whole Halloween season. I ordered my pair after Halloween last year so I can't wait to display them this year on our front porch. Everything I order from Grandin Road is made so well and "top-notch". I'm sure I will have these for many years to come!

A MUST HAVE
I wanted them so bad last year but they sold out before I could order them. They had them on preorder so I knew I had to order them. They were definitely worth the wait. The quality is outstanding and you can hear them clearly. I can't wait to put them up this year. I know they will be a hit!!!

skeletons
Kids and grandkids loved it. Our only disappointment is that the leg on the blue cap player won't cross as shown in the photo.

I am interested in the Dueling Skeltons, but 38 inches is awful small in heght. Is that mesurement shown of them sitting? Do they appear as a small child of 4 or 5 years old, as an adult or just as a table top chotskie? Thanks

I use all of my (indoor) props outdoors! How, I make battery packs that replicate the original wall wart that comes with each unit.
I'm an electronics tech, so if you are not sure about what voltage, polarity and plug to use, I would not suggest doing this as it would void your warranty. But it makes everything wireless with no extension cords. Not sure why the manufactures don't have this feature.
Some props come battery operated, with a plug in wall wort just in case.

Answer:
Yes, they are motion activated, so far they work real well.9 months ago
Answer:
The skeletons are activated by ekectricity. There is a plug that hooks up to one of the skeletons and there is never a need for batteries. Thats what makes these even better!Length of Ownership: < 1 year

Answer:
I have never been satisfied with light activated motion sensors as the light has to shine in front of the props and when you move in front to block the light they activate.Seems these are the same.
Most of my props are in a dark area, so I hook up PIR (passive infrared) sensors that work by heat and motion, so no light needed, of course the banjo players do not have a (try me) button or jack, so I would be voiding the warranty. But at least they will work great!
