Over-door Beveled Door Mirror 4.6 5 182 192
Over-door Beveled Door Mirror is perfect! I had been searching for a "nice" over-door mirror for quite some time, and upon a visit to my sister's home, I saw she had purchased this mirror. Beautiful! I ordered it, and it not only serves the purpose as a full-length mirror, its beauty adds to my master bath's decor. April 23, 2015
Beautiful Mirror Very pleased with my mirror! The door hanger is high quality, heavy duty. The mirror comes with padding on the back to provide protection from banging against the door. Great value. April 21, 2015
outstanding quality heavy - quality craftsmanship with bevel edging. Beautiful mirror. Buy it you can't go wrong April 10, 2015
Great concept, but..... I was very excited to come across this mirror. I recently renovated my master bath and chose to use individual mirrors over the new double sinks. However, this left me lacking for a "better view" to check out the overall look in the morning. Being in short supply of wall space, I didn't want to cheapen the look of my beautiful new bathroom with a screw on door mirror. I ordered this product with high hopes! It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This mirror definitely has style and is lovely in weight and substance. My only issue is the width. I have lever style door handles throughout my home and unfortunately, the doors available in my bathroom (commode door and linen closet door) are not sufficiently wide enough to accomodate this mirror without interfering with the operation of the door. I'm keeping the mirror, just have to make a new game plan on where to locate it. Be sure to measure and calculate to make sure it will fit before you purchase. November 12, 2012
Pretty but Heavy and Unstable Over-the-Door Mirrow This mirror came well padded and boxed and on time. It is a pretty beveled over-the-door mirror as advertised. However, it is extremely heavy, needing two people to hang it over a door, and not very stable when the door is opened and closed, even with attempts to secure it with double-sided tape. Best used on a door that is seldom used, instead of a bathroom or main or children's bedroom door. March 23, 2015
Beautiful Mirror!! I have looked at this mirror constantly over the past six months and finally purchased it. I am so happy I did! It was so easy to hang and looks so elegant with the beveled edge! I absolutely love it and don't know why I waited so long to purchase it! March 2, 2015
great mirror I love this mirror. It large and gives a great view of my entire body and it makes the door that it hangs on look sleek and sophisticated. Best buy ever! February 6, 2015
Love this piece!!! The mirror was well packed for starters. It is also substantial and the hardware is of good quality. I hung it (by myself!) in the master bath and it adds depth to the room. I will be ordering another for the guest bedroom. Don't hesitate to buy this one! I waited a couple years to buy it and wished I would have ordered sooner. January 24, 2015

Answer:
No, the handle is not permanently installed. It is entirely flexible to move from one place to another. It is heavy enough to be considered stable if you choose not to move it.

Answer:
The hanging apparatus is actually 2 seperate pieces: The hook is a U shaped wide padded piece of metal that fits over the top of the door. It has a channel in which the second piece, a tubular rectangle piece, fits into. there is also a lip on the back of the mirror to hang from the rectangular piece, making it all fit together. Hope this helps!

Answer:
No, the mirror has a strong hook on the back. Use the center piece (the rectangle) between the mirror hook and the door hook. 3 separate pieces. I'm petite and I did it all by myself.

Answer:
No the handle at the top is not permanently attached...which is a good thing. But it does not attach at the bottom. This is a problem when you open or close the door...with no attachment at the bottom the mirror flops back and forth.

Love this mirror and want it hung flat on the dry wall instead of over a door. I would put a heavy (23+lbs.) picture nail and molly bolt into the dry wall and slip the mirror's back metal loop over that nail to hold the mirror securely. Then I will tie a wide. graceful bow of ribbon over those mechanics at the top. I do not want to use mirror clips around the veveled edges. Would my plan work?

Thank you for your interest in Grandin Road. While we cannot recommend hanging the mirror in any manner other than it was originally intended (over the door use), we do suggest checking with a local home improvement store for their recommendations in hanging the mirror.

Answer:
This mirror is heavy, Heavy, HEAVY. If you can't find a stud, I would be scared to trust hanging it on a wall no matter what the rating on the picture hanger.
