Plantation Chair 3.7 5 43 46
very good and well built chair overall a very good, well built chair. I thought the sanding around the curved arms on the inside could have been better - smoother. The instructions were basic and diagrams hard to visualize. August 23, 2011
Not worth the money Would return if I could but husband put them together and no way to break them down to ship back. Slope of chair feels awkward and slats are very uncomfortable. Ordered two chairs, both arms on one chair was broke at the curl. Don't waste your money. August 21, 2011
Keeping them, but uncomfortable These chairs were not designed for human scale. Too oversized. I'm 5'3" and my husband is 6'. Neither of us are comfortable. I'm getting cushions, as suggested, but am sorry I wasn't able to sit in them before purchasing. They're fine for relaxing and laying back, but awkward if you want to talk to someone. They look great, so I am swayed by that! Easy to put together, I got four and by the third one it took ten minutes. May 22, 2011
Beautiful look but uncomfortable I purchased this chair with confidence knowing that Grandin Road has great quality. However I was very disappointed with the chair because of it's size and lack of comfort. It is a very beautiful chair and the quality is there but it is made for someone that is about 6' or taller. I am only 5'2" and my husband is 5"9". When I sat in the chair I had to use a lower pillow and another one for my head. Otherwise I was starring up in the sky in a more semi-reclined position because of how deep the seat is. My husband had the same problem but not as bad. My grown son who is 6'1" thought the chair was perfect and loved it. May 18, 2011
love these chairs! these chairs are great! we love them! only con would be that you must use a "lumbar type" pillow to be comfortable when sitting in the chairs...although the chairs look like they would be very comfortable, the chairs don't conform to your body w/o the use of a pillow at your lower back area. but hey, that's no problem for us! we keep pillows close by and we grab one when we sit in the chairs! love 'em! An answer to my previous question stated that the Plantation Chair Cover could be used to protect both chair and ottoman. Can you please provide specific instruction on how the cover will cover both and still drape properly to protect both pieces of furniture? The ottoman is an irregular shape. If I stack the ottoman in the chair, the cover does not drape properly, making it unsightly, and it no longer covers a portion of the chair. Please provide more specific information..

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this item. Unfortunately, the Plantation Chair Cover is not intended to cover both the chair and the ottoman. It is made specifically to cover the chair only. We apologize for any misinformation you received and for any inconvenience.
