Rated 5 out of 5 by GREAT FOR HALLOWEEN Just got these and wow that is all that should be said, but these are great nice and big and creepy looking. Love them. July 22, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Orbs! These eyeballs were much larger then I thought...I did not read the dimensions so when I opened the package I was more then surprised...think tennis ball size for the small ones and a large orange for the bigger size. I collect antique medical artifacts, antique funeral items and both vintage and new Halloween...these eyeballs fit easily in each theme. Nice graphics and a glossy finish, I am very glad that I bought two sets. August 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eyeballs for Halloween These are great..and bigger that I expected. I have two large jars for Halloween foliage and these will be perfect in between the orange flowers. August 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beauty is in the eye of the beholder ! thought they were smaller when I first ordered them (guess I was in a hurry before they sold out), still love them and now they make a bigger statement on my table for the kids to see...they like to come in and see all my goodies I've collected thou the years. really look great !!!! August 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unique! These are sooooo awesome! I have never seen anything like them. Very lightweight makes them easy to store. I like that there are different sizes, for decorating. August 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Eyes I love the eyes. They will make great Halloween decorations. August 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by What a hoot Love these, just be careful and don't pull off the small back sticker May 21, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by eyeball orbs Hooray! I finally got my eyeball orbs that I ordered in March and although it was a long wait...it was worth it! They are awesome and I love them! July 14, 2016

Answer:
I don't think these are made to use outside. They have a small paper sticker that covers a hole on the bottom of each one. Although I haven't tested them, I think moisture might ruin them. I like them too much to try it.

Answer:
I would only use these orbs for a special (and temporary) occasion like Halloween. I would be afraid that long term use outside would be detrimental to their really awesome appearance.

Answer:
The bottom of each eye has a paper sticker, about the size of a dime, covering a dull pencil lead hole, that would wick up moisture and damage the eye. A quick coat or three of shellac would take care of that. A light rain would be OK but not prolonged weather.

Answer:
Hello,
You can use them outside if they don't get wet. These balls will lose their finish and paint I'm guessing from sun and water damage.

Really great items though for indoors.

Answer:
I think that you would have to have a covered space for these as they are not plastic that could with star the elements. I was thinking of using them just as you did but rethought the idea when I got them. I will now use them on my covered steps.

I would be afraid the paper would peel and certainly soak up water and swell. You could still put them in a cauldron with other creepy things, moss, spiders, etc.

Answer:
They are very light & I am sure they would float. However, although they are covered in a plastic-like coating, they also have a small hole in the bottom that is covered by a paper sticker, so I am not sure that they would be moisture proof.

It sounds great but if you take a good look at them the way they are made it wouldn't be the best thing to do. Although they are quite a few of them you could try a couple out to see if they would hold up but I think they are indoor only.

Hello,
I wouldn't as they have a gloss finish and appear to be hand-painted.

The water would probably damage them.

Answer:
I suspect it is necessary as part of the way they are made. However I was happy to know about it, as it makes the orbs more versatile. They look great in a bowl as shown, but you can also put them on a skewer and add them to plants or floral arrangements (Take the sticker off with Goo Gone). I am drilling a hole in the top as well (using a dremel drill) and threading them to make hanging ornaments for my Halloween décor. I will post a photo when completed.

Answer:
I'm just guessing, but would it be so, if you wanted to, you could screw in a little hook to hang them with fishing line or ribbon, from a branch or in a window or a door frame... but I didn't see it, so I don't know. That's just a personal guess.

If you want to insert a stick (like a skewer) in the hole you can then mount the set of eyes to peek through or over something like a plant. All sorts of options for Halloween décor!
