Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shooting Star Cluster Light Display The stars are beautiful when lit. Love the long tails. I hung it on my garage draping the tails so it looks like a shooting star. I'm glad I purchased them. I do have a couple reservations. 1) very expensive for what it is. Should be about half the list price since it is standard lights (not LEDs) and simple plastic moldings. It is made in China with dirt cheap labor. I estimate the cost to execute the design is less than $10 (US). Lots of profit. 2) heavier than it looks, so be prepared have a solid attachment to whatever it is being hung on. 3) don't like the grouping of connectors near the star end, looks tacky. Would prefer to have the strands connected into a high quality connection with long cord (12 feet). This would be easier for connection and routing of my extension cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your ordinary Christmas decoration I actually haven't used it yet because I purchased the stars on an after-Christmas sale. The great price reduction encouraged me to finally make the purchase! I tested it and all lights work, but I don't know how it will hold up. The reviews did make me concerned about it's season will put it to the test...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these lights! The shooting stars are a great addition to my Christmas lights outside. They were easy to put up alone and look fantastic. I saw some cheaper shooting stars online that got terrible reviews. I'm happy to say that Grandinroad products are exactly as advertised. I look forward to buying any new holiday decorations at Grandinroad!

How do these attach to the trees?

Asked by: Alexis
The stars are heavy wire. The largest one has a loop of wire on the back for hanging. We attached it to our eaves with a hook. You could easily tie them to trees.

Are the star tails individual or connected in some way? And how can they be secured to something to hold them in place (loop or hook on the ends?)

Asked by: Anonymous
the tails are connected to the ends of the stars. I used sticks to push through the final loop to secure them in the ground and used twine to connect other strands to nearby trees. it's very easy to figure out and looks just like their advertised photo. You need a tallish ladder to get the stars high up on the tree.
