Good idea, but problems exist I love these globes and have reordered them as the original products had problems. One of the six was broken and after following instructions 3 more stopped working after 3-4 days. Grandinroad makes returns super easy, so I am awaiting the new globes with anticipation. Disappointed I purchased 3 globes for our pool ... Upon receiving them, they appeared to have smart construction. I followed the directions for the solar charge and, once ready, put them in the pool. The first night the light show was so much fun. Unfortunately, 24 hours later, 2 of the three stopped working! We took them out of the pool and double checked the seal -- there was no way we could've made them tighter unless I put them in zip loc bags! Very disappointed ... if you're purchasing, avoid putting them in your pool. May 13, 2013

Great Decorative Value Works in garden, pool or on table top. Nice transition between colors. Check closely to make sure batteries are seated or charging/lighting will be less than satisfactory. April 25, 2013

Solar Globes I actually bought 6 globes. One of the Globes does not work. I put all six in the water as directed but one never worked. I did not send it back because its a hassle to do. Overall, this purchase is just ok. April 9, 2013

Love my globes! I read enough reviews about water getting into the battery compartment and based on the construction, that is a given. They really should not be sold as floaters, IMO. So I followed the charging instructions and place them into the landscaping. We think they are fabulous, constantly shifting from one bright color to the next. April 3, 2013

bad purchase the three lamps don't begin to glow at the same time and don't glow with the same intensity. The overall apect is not good looking. Not a good purchase March 21, 2013
