Rated 5 out of 5 by 39 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Spike Spike is great! He is a big and believable looking skeleton dog and not as evil as he looks on site. I have two other dogs I got last year and when I saw Spike I knew he would be of the same good quality and perfect to complete my skeleton theme. Neighbors & Trick or Treaters love my yard!. Very unique decoration. July 16, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful display potential We stage several skeletons driving a Model T touring car in our front yard. This dog will be sitting in the front seat. May also ride along during Halloween drives, July 31, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great guard dog! This guy is perfect. Great height, weight and expression. Easily holds a rolled newspaper in his mouth. He's going to be perfect come Halloween! August 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Spike! This is the 3rd Skeleton dog that I bought from Grandin & it did not disappoint. Quality & appearance are just as expected. I love their Halloween décor. My only issue is that once you put the head on the dog, you can't disconnect it so it won't go back in it's original box. I like to store all my items in the box they came in. This product was well worth the money spent. August 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lifesize He is huge and so much fun. All of the skeleton dogs are great quality and price. Highly reccommend 5+ stars August 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Him! Bernie's Best & Devoted Friend! Let me tell you...Spike is the biggest, baddest skeleton dog and an absolute delight to have around! Got the 5' skeleton last year, and named him "Bernie". Also, got "Jett" as his girlfriend--guitar playing rocker girl . Well Jett left Bernie last year to live with my son, and he has been rather lonely since. But, now he has Spike and couldn't be happier. My husband and I have a small restaurant, and Bernie & Spike will be coming for Halloween to entertain our customers! Can't wait! August 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by So spooky! Great Halloween deco! A most evil grin--can't wait to scare Halloween guests! August 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by We Love Spike! Spike is now a member of our family of four skeleton dogs and he is the most distinctive one among them. The others all stand up but Spike is in a sitting position, so that's something different to add to the Halloween display. He is very big, about the size of a real life Doberman Pinscher, and he has a head like a Dobie too so he has a fiercer look which we love. Quality is great, he will last a long time, and he looks very good. September 2, 2015

Thank you for your interest in Spike the Skeleton Dog. This item's jaw can be opened and closed and the tail can be posed, but the skeleton dog can not be moved out of the sitting position.

Answer:
I solved my issue by rocking Spike's head from side to side firmly which unlocked the tabs on the neck joint and allowed me to put him back in his box for the off season. Good boy Spike!

Answer:
Spike the Skeleton Dog can be disassembled for storage. Gently twist the head and the four legs out of their “sockets” and they will hang down as they did when the item was shipped.
