Oversized Santa Boots 4.9 5 43 46
Nice boots! I like these boots very much. Bought them in black for indoors- by the front door- and they look great with red, silver and white gllittery candy canes and other boughs in them. I did NOT buy the Grandinroad candy canes because I didn't like that they are knitted. I wanted more "formal" things in mine (personal choice). The black boots stand out nicely against the wall and will do well for years to come- even if I decide to use them outdoors. I recommend them. But try to buy them at a reduced price- they ARE a wee bit overpriced. December 24, 2014
I waited years... I've been eyeballing these Santa boots for years and finally bit the bullet this year and ordered them. I'm SO glad I did. I LOVE them, they're such a whimsical touch to our front porch (which is uncovered). So far (and many rainy days) so good, they have withstood the elements. I have them filled with lighted candy canes that I found at Michael's. Fingers crossed the weather doesn't beat them up. I have the black ones, and they are very sturdy, not sure of the specific material, but they feel like a very hard plastic, very thick. December 12, 2014
santa boots they are cute but are much heavier and bigger than I had expected. Must have a pretty large spot for them! January 4, 2015
Ho Ho Ho Santa's Boots These boots are heavy and really cute. Everyone noticed them and wanted to know where I bought them! December 31, 2014
Love I've wanted these boots for a few years, finally ordered this year. I love the boots. I put them in my foyer and filled with the 31" candy canes and greenery. I've had tons of compliments. December 24, 2014
GET THESE BOOTS These things are awesome. I bought them a year or two ago on clearance but did not open. Holy moses! They make the living room! VERY good quality and quite a conversation piece when people come over. You will not regret this purchase. December 21, 2014
Great Look! Love these Oversized Santa Boots. I got the black ones and they go well with my black and white decor. I have them in my entryway with 2 pink poinsettia plants, which fit perfectly in the opening. I only wish I'd waited until they went on sale to purchase them; however, they're pretty durable and I'm sure, will last through many holiday seasons. December 10, 2014
Santa's boots I absolutely fell in love with these when I saw them in the catalog. When they arrived I was so excited. I ordered the black ones and they are gorgeous! They look like the jolly old elf just stepped right out of them. December 11, 2014

Answer:
I would say yes, if you plan on keeping the boots empty. It's made of heavy ceramic material. It could be used as a planter.

I guess it just depends what you fill the boots with?

Answer:
They are totally open inside the boots, so I wouldn't use it outside a covered area.

Answer:
They definitely could be used outside, and would certainly hold up to cold, windy weather---they're very heavy. As far as an uncovered porch goes, they could fill with rain??? But bottom line, for the Christmas Season, they would be fine...

Yes. I have them on my driveway right next to the front of my house. I added red and white candy canes and white branches. It's beautiful.

Answer:
It may be that rain or snow may fill into the boots if you leave them without coverage. . I have not been worried about the temperature 'cracking" the material the boots are made of. They may look great with natural greens spiking out of them, and some plastic candy canes or, other fun holiday ornament mixed with the greens; then you may not worry about moisture getting in them?. They are fun and whimsical.
