Oversized Santa Boots 5 5 24 26
HO HO HO A perfect tease that Santa is around the corner. Heavy and well balanced. Santa's boots sat by my front door throughout the holidays. Seemed to bring a smile to all who entered. Added the tall candy canes for additional height. Looking forward to using them again when the holidays roll around. May 10, 2013
Great holiday decoration. Good quality and size. I put Santa's boots (black) by the front door beside a pair of elf shoes. Then a big Santa hat with an Elf hat, on one of the front doors.. The boots can be used as an umbrella holder. (Seattle)They are big enough to see from the front street and add some simple charm for the holidays that go well with a variety of other decorations.. December 27, 2012
Santa's Boots I just love them! I have had several comments about how great they look in my outside decor. December 20, 2012
Santa Boots LOVED THESE BOOTS! They are my favorite decoration this year. They are larger than I expected. You won't be disappointed! December 20, 2012
Oversized Santa Boots Another great additional to the Grandinroad holiday line! Impresive size and perfect for our "Santa Room." December 18, 2012
So Gald I bought them!! I bought two pairs, one balck and one red. Love them. One is for a gift and I had such a hard time deciding which one I was keeping. Just not sure if they can be used outside. I don't have a covered area in the front of the house so I am hesitant to put them on my front porch. But they look wonderful inside next to the front door. I am pleased with the size....big! Will use them for many Christmases to come. December 14, 2012
A real presense these boots are unbelievable! They are bigger than I expected but they will make a real statement for any decoration. I got the black to be true to Santa's attire! Very versatile in how you can use them. Am creating a scene of sorts with a stuff reindeer next to them and a Santa hat. Grand kids can wait in anticipation!! December 14, 2012
Santa left his boots at my house These are so great. Can use inside or outside and fill with so much. Everyone loves them, December 12, 2012

Answer:
I would say yes, if you plan on keeping the boots empty. It's made of heavy ceramic material. It could be used as a planter.

I guess it just depends what you fill the boots with?

Answer:
They are totally open inside the boots, so I wouldn't use it outside a covered area.

Answer:
They definitely could be used outside, and would certainly hold up to cold, windy weather---they're very heavy. As far as an uncovered porch goes, they could fill with rain??? But bottom line, for the Christmas Season, they would be fine...

Yes. I have them on my driveway right next to the front of my house. I added red and white candy canes and white branches. It's beautiful.

Answer:
It may be that rain or snow may fill into the boots if you leave them without coverage. . I have not been worried about the temperature 'cracking" the material the boots are made of. They may look great with natural greens spiking out of them, and some plastic candy canes or, other fun holiday ornament mixed with the greens; then you may not worry about moisture getting in them?. They are fun and whimsical.
