Over-door Beveled Door Mirror 4.6 5 186 196
Love this Mirror I love this mirror! It looks and feels very luxurious. And the best part is I can easily move it from place to place around my house as needed. No nail holes! March 1, 2011
A Mirror that Uses Very Little Space One of the best features re this mirror is that it hangs "over" the door thereby occupying very little space in a small room. There are also no nails that would deface a wooden door. Its oval shape is elegant with no angled edges to scratch anything in the case of a rectangular mirror. A very minor drawback is if one slams the door the bottom advances forward a bit, but with care this is not a problem March 2, 2011
Classy mirror This mirror is an elegant addition to my humble condo. I love that it is so easy to hang, and does not require putting holes in the door. Not only does that eliminate damage, it is possible for one (not very strong or tall) person to hang it in place. The oval shape and beveled edge set it apart from an ordinary mirror. It is so attractive that I put it on the outside of the door of the guest bedroom, so it is visible all the time from the hallway. I'm very happy with my purchase. March 3, 2011
Mrs. Best over the door mirror I have seen. It is a quality mirror that is just the right size and simple to hang, no holes. This is a perfect mirror and at a good price. You can't go wrong with this mirror. May 10, 2011
Love this mirror The quality of this mirror is excellent. The hanger for over the door makes it so easy to mount, only takes a few seconds. Also, love the shape. Would highly recommend. July 21, 2011
Very pleased WOW! I almost did not buy this mirror because of the two negative reviews that I read. I just received the mirror today and I am very pleased with it. The mirror, itself is high quality and the hardware is just as the picture shows. I do not have cheap doors and the hardware goes over the door just fine. I am perplexed as to why anyone would not be satisfied with the mirror and/or hardware that I received. I would recommend it to anyone!!!!! October 25, 2011
great product! This is a beautiful mirror and it is very well made. The bevel really makes the mirror look luxurious. the width and height are perfect. I liked it so much I bought a second one! November 5, 2011
Great solution! We had been searching for a creative solution for a full length mirror that was not free standing or needing to be attached to the wall. It's perfect and high quality and a beautiful addition! November 5, 2011

Answer:
No, the handle is not permanently installed. It is entirely flexible to move from one place to another. It is heavy enough to be considered stable if you choose not to move it.

Answer:
The hanging apparatus is actually 2 seperate pieces: The hook is a U shaped wide padded piece of metal that fits over the top of the door. It has a channel in which the second piece, a tubular rectangle piece, fits into. there is also a lip on the back of the mirror to hang from the rectangular piece, making it all fit together. Hope this helps!

Answer:
No, the mirror has a strong hook on the back. Use the center piece (the rectangle) between the mirror hook and the door hook. 3 separate pieces. I'm petite and I did it all by myself.

Answer:
No the handle at the top is not permanently attached...which is a good thing. But it does not attach at the bottom. This is a problem when you open or close the door...with no attachment at the bottom the mirror flops back and forth.

Love this mirror and want it hung flat on the dry wall instead of over a door. I would put a heavy (23+lbs.) picture nail and molly bolt into the dry wall and slip the mirror's back metal loop over that nail to hold the mirror securely. Then I will tie a wide. graceful bow of ribbon over those mechanics at the top. I do not want to use mirror clips around the veveled edges. Would my plan work?

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Grandin Road. While we cannot recommend hanging the mirror in any manner other than it was originally intended (over the door use), we do suggest checking with a local home improvement store for their recommendations in hanging the mirror.

Answer:
This mirror is heavy, Heavy, HEAVY. If you can't find a stud, I would be scared to trust hanging it on a wall no matter what the rating on the picture hanger.
