Does the Adjustable Wreath Hanger (Item: #171481) work well on an outer screen door? Too loose over top? What is clearance at the top?
This works really well on outer screen door. It does have longer screws and spacers if the base over the door hangers are two narrow but it worked perfectly for mine without the longer screws/spacers. I wanted my wreath viewable and it’s exactly why I purchased this hanger.

can I use it on a Hurricane door?

I have the hangar but the hook at the bottom is lost. Is there ant way to just get the hook.

Good Looking and Strong
Works very well on all types of doors - wood, glass inserted, iron. Very stable with weight of wreath. Foam padding on door top hangers does NOT mar doors. If you are at all concerned about any door marks or dings, add adhesive backed felt - dots, squares, etc. to the backside of the hanger. Adjusting wreath position / height very simple. This is a definite BUY!

Beautiful and Perfect
Excellent quality and design! We ordered the Burnished Bronze and were thrilled with how beautifully it complemented our front door. It was easy to hang, fit perfectly, and arrived quickly. We look forward to using it every year at Christmas for sure, and possibly every Fall with an autumn colors wreath.

Beautiful way to hang a wreath!
Now not only do I boast a gorgeous wreath but an exquisite hanger as well. I wondered if I wanted to wait as long as I did (almost a month) but it was well worth the wait. It adds nothing but loveliness to my already terrific decoration. thrilled!

Great adjustable hanger, BUT…
I love the adjustable door hanger, but they have changed the design from being one solid piece to one that is hinged & bends in the middle…It is hard to handle putting it on & taking it off the door…It bends & sometimes catches my fingers in it…I liked the original design better where the whole thing was one solid piece…Was much easier to handle.

Very nice looking
Bought several wks ago and was really excited to hang my Spring wreath on our entrance door. I knew the width of the two hangers that go over the door were good as I measured our door and the catalog description listed the door over-hook’s width. It hung over the door fine but closing the door was difficult and upon opening the door the top door jamb was scraped. It was not a problem on any inside door nor was there any difficulty opening or closing the door or scrapes on the top door jamb. This is the only reason for the four stars as the hanger is lovely. May be returning as I wanted it for a specific door.

Adjustable wreath hanger for my 8 foot tall front
I purchased this in the gold color to hang the metallic Christmas wreath last year. It was fine. I was about to buy it in bronze for my fall wreath but instead decided to use the gold one for now. Well the adjustment part is ‘totally broken’. My wreath kept falling off then the small adjustment part came apart in pieces. It is not normal for me to have issues with purchases so this is confusing.

Disappointing
Waited a long time for this.OPENED BOX IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE ! It was a dull yellow painted piece in 100 pieces! Sent it back immediately, I wonder if the bronze one is just painted brown !
