What are the dimensions of the base? Website says "9" dia." ... not a diameter as base is round, and 9" length and width seems huge.

Maybe if in a covered porch. I think strong winds would otherwise knock it down.

Not sure but mine is 28 w x 30 h. No problems.

Adjustable Wreath Stand
This wreath stand is wonderful. I received a gorgeous natural pine wreath and set it
up for the holidays . The stand was so easy to assemble and is a delightful alternative
to hanging my wreath on the front door. The fragrance of a forest wreath in the house
is so enjoyable; it puts you in the holiday mood.

For use throughout the year.
I never saw this until it was on sale and I'm so glad I did. Very well made, weighty, and just what I need to display all my numerous wreaths. The 4 different finials allow for use during the year. It is tall, and stands out next to my fireplace. A great purchase!

This adds a nice touch to my foyer
I love using this to add a wreath or decoration for every holiday. It adds a nice touch to my foyer and makes me happy when I see it with a cute wreath or whatever I decide to hang on it. Sometimes a wreath and sometimes a small picture or framed holiday decoration

Great adjustable wreath stand
This is a beautiful wreath stand. The interchangeable finials are a bonus! I love the fact that this is height adjustable as I have large wreaths and swags that fit beautifully.
