Interested in the teak rocking chair. Are there cushions that will fit the chair for the seat and the back of the chair?

The assembly is straightforward and easy. I was able to do it with a full foot cast to my knee. Great rocker to sit in on the porch while I recover from surgery.

Does this rocking chair come in different colors?
Teak color is teak color. You can darken or maintain the golden teak color by applying a teak sealer or oil. I use Semco Teack Sealer to keep my teak furniture a nice golden color without it fading to a silver.

I'm 5'6''. When I sit in this rocking chair will I be able to rest my head on the back?
I'm 5'8" and can rest my head on the back. It is comfortable for me. I'm not sure it would fit a very short person very well - seat is deep and sits high from the ground.

Teak rocking chairs
Perfect, they go great with the other 6 i already had. Great value. The oldest of my rockers are over 14 years old. They hold up very well.

Great Rockers
I am very pleased with these rockers because: they look exactly like the picture, they are high quality, they assembled very easily and I did it by myself, I appreciate that there was additional hardware with each chair, they are a comfortable seating rocker and they look great on my front porch!

Had to buy a pair!
Our porch rocker died and needed replacement. These were quite an upgrade from what we had. These chairs are sturdy, solidly built, and beautiful. We get many compliments on them. The lumbar support is a plus. Don’t buy just one, you won’t want to share!

Great Rocker
I've had this rocker about 2 months. It was easy to assemble and appears well made and sturdy. My only caution is that it is very large - which is what I wanted. However, the seat sits high. I'm 5-8 with long legs and it's fine for me. A short person would find their legs dangling and only able to reach the ground when the rocker is in the far forward position. Mine is sitting on a covered front porch. I intend to apply Semco Natural Teak Sealer to keep it the color I want without fading to silver

Beyond expectations
I bought 2 of these rockers for my new porch, expecting them to last until I can afford to buy better ones. These are wonderful! So much better quality than expected. Heavy teak. Solid construction. Sized for even the biggest in my family. I got them during one of your sales, so the price/value is off the charts. Thank you! We will enjoy these rockers for many years.

Fantastic Chair - Needs Large Size Chair Cushions
I ordered two of these chairs for my front porch which appear to be great quality. My only complaint is that Grandin Road doesn't offer chair cushions to fit the odd size of the seat which is wide and deep. I have looked everywhere and cannot find the size to match these.

My favorite chair!
I had to write a review because I am so happy with this rocking chair. Seemed a bit pricey, but I have had it about a year now and I feel it was worth every penny. I was able to assemble it without any problems. It has been sitting outside for about a year now, and still looks great. It is very comfortable, with just the right tilt and rocking motion. Feels good on my back as well. It has a very sturdy feel and has weathered only slightly. I've gotten really frustrated with metal patio furniture rusting out on me a few months after I buy it, and now I'm a big fan of teak garden furniture! I think I'll be enjoying this chair for years to come.

Easy Assembly; Impressive Appearance
This rocking chair was a birthday gift for my sister, who has a collection of some very expensive teak pieces. The rocking chair looks outstanding -- stately, wide, smooth-rocking, and gloriously comfortable. It has become the highlight of her teak collection.
I build furniture as a hobby, so I didn't even bother to read the instructions. It would be helpful to have another person to assist in the assembly, however, if you do not ordinarily assemble furniture. Just remember to tighten every screw before using ! !
I found one flaw. This chair, as you know, is very competitively priced in the world of teak furniture. The wood in this piece, while attractive and strong, is an assortment of glued-together small pieces of teak. In one spot in my chair, the cut of the leg was at a sharp angle to the glue-up in the wood, and I found a razor-sharp edge here which needed to be sanded and partially re-glued. With that correction made, the chair is perfect. How many years of service it gives remains to be seen ! !

Best Rocker for Large People
My husband weighed 275 when I started looking for a replacement rocker for the patio. It needed to be comfortable for a larger person and be able to hold more than 250 lbs which is the capacity for all the rockers I found in stores and online. My sons bought this for him for Father's Day. Although it showed delivery in 3 weeks, it came the same week I ordered! I also contacted the company to ask about weight capacity and found it was tested for up to 325 lbs. I think it must be the only one out there! The back is slightly convex and fits the back very comfortably! You can rest your head on the back, something else I was looking for and didn't find in a lot of rockers. My husband is recouperating from heart issues and he sits out every day to enjoy the koi pond and waterfall in our back yard. I am thrilled that I found exactly what I was looking for! It's weatherproof and needs no cushions---a plus. It was expensive and I might have bought another one if it had cost less. I spent a lot of time on the internet looking for an outdoor rocker. So glad I found this one!

Great Chair / bad packaging
Love this chair. It is beautiful and comfortable. Unfortunately ordered two and both came with broken pieces so I was only able to assemble one by using pieces from both chairs. The packaging was really flimsy. I just hope the replacement doesn't have any broken parts.

Hard on your back
There is a hump on the back of this chair that does not contour to ones back. It is nothing but a hard piece of wood jamming into an unnatural spot on ones back. Too bad they will be going in our fire pit soon!
