Any issues from the Sun would fall under the 1 year warranty. Also, annual application of urethane recommended to preserve the all-weather finish.

Thank you for your interest in the Amalfi Bench. The type of Urethane that you use will depend on what type of climate that you have the bench in. If you are in more of a damp climate then we would recommend more of a marine grade urethane. If you are not in a damp climate you can use just the spray can urethane. The gloss finish will depend on your personal preference. There is a high gloss urethane sealant on it when you receive it but you can choose to change that when you reseal.
