Exactly as described
I’ve purchased two of these animated floating brooms and we all love them! They are exactly as described… They move in a random pattern, they emit spooky sounds and they are very creepy! Makes me laugh
Funny entertaining broom. It is not motion activated. You have to touch the handle to start the recording and sweeping. Or sneeze really loud to get it started. The recording is really loud. The only disappointment was the skimpy bristles. They do not hide the black base.

My Halloween Guests Loved It!
Animated broom is exactly as pictured. It was a 'hit' at my Halloween party. I just wished the broom bristles were a little fuller in order to cover the base more.

True to the reviews all the negative is correct. 1. It looks cheap, 2. It is SUPER loud! 3. The bristles shed, 4. You can see through it.
All that to say what I am using it for all of that is a perk..I guess! It will be outdoors on a upper balcony so the volume will be great since it's outside, the sparse bristles won't be noticed, and the shedding won't be a problem because it's outdoors. Had I not read the reviews I probably would give it a 1. But the reviews made me aware of the flawless..personally I would say save your money unless its going to be used inconspicuously

Volume control
This is a really neat animated broom, or as we call it, the “ broomba.” It does look a little cheap with the plastic handle, though. It really needs a volume control because the spooky sounds are so loud, you cannot talk when it’s on.

This broom moves around beautifully and I love it. The most challenging part of putting together was getting the tiny tiny screw out so I could insert the batteries. The instructions should have said insert batteries first before starting to put it together. That’s the only problem with this darling little broom except I do wish there were more bristles.

Unstable Animated Broom
I wanted to really love this animated witches broom, but the speaker is extremely loud and the broom doesn’t stay on when it starts to move around. The broom is very ridged and difficult to put back on the stand without getting scratched up on your arm/hands and then a bunch of the little twigs fall off and make a mess. The broom need to lock in place, but it doesn’t all that. It’s a great piece if you don’t have it turned on, but then what’s the point.

Cute but cheaply made
The concept is cute.. But the broom doesn’t snap or stay in place on the base. As soon as you touch the broom it falls off. Really disappointed about that. As other reviewers said, it is soo loud! Putting duct tape over the speaker makes it better though.

Silly fun for Halloween.
Funny and a decent concept. I wish it had infrared sensors so I could use barrier sensors like I have for my robot vacs. Then it could be on the front porch- that would be funnier. It is quite loud, so I took the advice of another buyer that put tape over the speaker to muffle it.

Floating Broom
I bought this for my Halloween Bookclub party. They got a hoot out of it like I expected. The quality could have been better for the price but I will keep it and use it for the Halloweens to come. I can decorate it and add stuff to it to give it character.’She’ will be around for a while I hope.

It's cool but cheap looking
Just like everyone said, it's spare in bristles, it's loud, and the hand looks super cheap (I managed to snap mine while putting it together but it's nothing glue can't help). I recommend having two people attach the base to the bristle portion as the bristles are meant to hide the machinery but that makes it difficult to attach.
That said, it's cool. I do wish it was better.
It definitely isn't up to GR standards. I'm sure there were a lot of parts swapped out for others due to lack of availability because of shortages and bottlenecks—but, man, it's a downgrade.
We are using it outside in an area no one will be too close to. If I were using this for a party, I wouldn't get it.

It's fun
I love the look and concept, but not very well made. Stick snapped when we were screwing the handle on. Plastic is surprising brittle. Bristles shed off, especially as you have to dig through them to the power switch. And it is LOUD!!! Will take advice and put tape over speaker. Despite these pretty blatant flaws, I love the look of it and hope the tape (on handle and speaker) work out. Wish there was a "maybe" option on refer to a friend.

Looks beautiful but way too loud
Wheels need to loosen up and bit before it glides around very nice. We had to put tape over the speaker because it was incredibly loud. Looks great! The mechanics are pretty loud too.

Messy and Didn’t work
I had my eye on this for a while and finally decided to purchase. However, sticking the broom into the base was not easy and it made a huge mess. The broom shed a lot. Once I had it in the base, it did not work. Highly disappointed it this product.

OK with a few tweaks
I should have paid more attention to previous reviews. It really does look like a Roomba with sparse broom bristles sitting on top of it. Truth be told, it wasn't a big deal to add more bristles, but for the price, this should not have been necessary. It is true that the top of the base with the controls is more than easily visible through the sparse bristles, and the bristles do not cover the bottom of the base. I agree that the plastic handle makes it look cheap. On my hardwood floor it did operate as intended for the first few extended periods of use--moved at a nice even pace across the floor and quickly reversed when it came into contact with an object. After the first few uses, it was more likely to just stop and vibrate up against the object instead of reversing course. If you want to run this on carpet or concrete, you will be sorely disappointed. Even on my carpet with a very low nap it would not move more than a few inches at a time. Likewise when we attempted to use it out on the driveway. As others have said, there is no volume adjustment, and the sounds emanating from it are VERY loud (and I even wear hearing aids!). Taping over the speaker didn't seem to make a lot of difference. I really love the concept and was so excited about getting this, but due to the less than stellar appearance and the inconsistent movement over time in addition to the ridiculously loud noises, I really wouldn't recommend it.

My broom did not come with directions. Having trouble getting the trap door open. When I do, what size battery do I need. And what do I use to unscrew that door.
