Animated Haunted Movie Projector is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 35.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute deal I brought this to get an old vintage look not for Holloween. But it work really good and it gave the look I wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome but LOUD! I loved the reel of the skeleton dancing to the Entertainer. It's a perfect, quirky piece but like the other reviewers I think it is way too loud and there's no volume switch. I'll put it somewhere out of the way so it won't be too distracting (or outside on Halloween night).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of fun and very cute Works just as advertised and is very cute. The projection can go on any light colored walls and completely looks and sounds like in the beginning of film history. My kids love it more then I do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from i like the antique look of this projector I like the way it looks and the music that it plays but was disappointed the skeleton project on the wall. I sent it back for an exchange and hope the next one works properly because I think it's a cool Halloween decoration idea.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very original decor! I am always on the lookout for unusual Halloween decor and I love this! The movie is creepy, the music can be heard clearly and its a real conversation piece! I can't wait to display it at my annual party!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Totally Unique! (But too loud!) This item is GREAT! It's sound activated so guests were instructed to yell "Play" at the projector to make it play. That was pretty cool! It looked great as the movie was the centerpiece of our appetizer section of our last Halloween Ball. The theme was old carnival for the app table and the projector fit perfectly. It is VERY loud. It IS possible to open up the unit by unscrewing all the screws and popping it open. However, I did like the music so I just covered the speaker area with tape to tone it down. But, you CAN open it and cut the speaker. I took off a star because there is no volume control. The image is very clear and has that total vintage look. Also, the projector operation is mechanically a little noisy but that's ok...it's a projector so that didn't bother me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reels actually move! Sure glad I bought this cute Halloween decoration when I did because I noticed recently it is sold out. I saw one in a local retail store but it just had some skeleton heads bobbing around. This skeleton actually dances. My grandkids love it and laugh when they turn it on.

I just received mine and cannot turn it off without removing the batteries (turning it to the off switch does nothing) -- doesn't stop until it has played the (very loud!) tune several times.  Is this a glitch in mine, or are they all that way??

Asked by: Carolseu
Thank you for your interest in the Animated Haunted Movie Projector. When the switch is in the Off position it should only activate by pressing the demo button on the side. For further assistance we recommend contacting our customer service at 1-866-668-5962 or service@grandinroad.com.
