Can you hang the thermometer on a brick exterior?
Hi, try your local hardware store or an online retailer for “brick clips.”

Our Ashland Outdoor thermometer has "play" in the indicator arm that does not seem right. When it moves a little past vertical gravity takes hold and the arm falls 5 degrees further to either side. Once the temp gets there it is accurate again.

Out door Clock and Thermometer set
Popular item, took a while to receive, but worth it. Classy looking. Much better than junk I’ve gotten in the past that show their true worth once the weather hits it. This set is durable and has an expensive look to it

Perfect!
This thermometer is even more beautiful in person than it is in photos. The colors are perfect together; the gold hand looks striking against the blue paint, the font of the numbers is really pretty and the numerals stand out nicely. The quality is excellent too, it is quite large and easy to read and looks like a piece of art in our yard. It was simple to calibrate and I am already finding myself looking out the window to admire it and check the temperature. It is quite unique and exactly what I was hoping for!

Product is as described. Very pretty against my terra cotta brick;
Large enough to view from a distance. A little pricey but worth it because
I know Grandinroad products are made well and last a long time.

The clay color coordinates beautifully with our outdoor cream, teak scheme. Keeps acccurate temps and is soooo much more attractive than any outdoor thermometer I’ve ever owned. Makes a great housewarming gift too

Love this on my enclosed deck. I wanted the Ashland thermometer for a long time because I have the Ashland clock. Once I got it I realized that the numbers on the face do not give me the EXACT temp. It's OK though as it's so beautiful to look at and an approximate temp is good enough. I have the blue one and love the color. Kind of a denim blue. It's cast iron and it looks like it will last a lifetime.

temperature is not always correct. better at warmer temps but way off on lower temps below 40 degrees. very nice looking and fun to have outdoors.

extremely poor accuracy!
I was so glad to find a thermometer in this design and color but was very very disappointed in the accuracy. It did not matter where it was mounted nor on what kind on surface, the temp shown was at least 7 degrees incorrect in a range of temps from 20 F to 83 F.
