I did not know that there was a seam across the lower part of the back. But still attractive and comfortable. Just took tooo long to get - more than 6 months.

Even better in person
These chairs are beautiful. The leather and wood are even better in person than in pictures. I love the style. They are a bit more reclined than I would prefer, especially since I don’t want ottomans in the space, but I’m still pleased with them. They arrived about 2 weeks after ordering, no damage in shipping.

SOOO worth the wait!!
Purchased online in October & took till April for delivery. Beyond that, communication was good, keeping me updated on delays. And once it arrived, it made it all worth it! The chair is super comfy & will be the perfect hanging out and relaxation spot. The leather is firm yet soft & buttery. Just perfect! The sophisticated look and feel of both the chair & ottoman (only took a month for the ottoman to arrive) fits in perfectly with my other mid century modern furniture! Love it!!

Close to a perfect chair
This is close to a perfect chair. First, I love the look. I got this to replace a recliner. The Augusto chair is much cleaner looking and yet seems even more comfortable. The angle is perfect for relaxing or reading, though for my height (5' 5") it pretty much needs a footstool (on order!). It's really well built and arrived (via trucking company) in great shape.

What kind of filler is used for the seat and back? Does it contain any flame retardants?
