Best seat in the house!
Beautiful and comfortable! I adore this chair. I’m using it as an accent chair in my bedroom but I’m using it t a lot more then I originally tended because it’s so comfortable. It’s a great place to sink in and read a book. The leather is beautiful. The only problem I have s my cat likes the chair as much as I do! I plan on buying the stool soon. I’ve also bought an outside rocking chair from here and quality surpasses all other furniture companies.

Augusto Chair
The chair is exactly as described, solid wood and leather covering. We love the style and look of the chair. On the downside, we ordered the chair back in February. It was manufactured and shipped out to us in mid-May. Now this may seem bad to some, but we had shopped furniture at a local store where the wait time (manufacture to ship) for the furniture was 8-12 months.
After receiving the e-mail in May that our piece had shipped, it took almost another month to get from the shipping company's warehouse to our door! It's the waiting for that final mile, which ironically is the name of the division of the shipping company contacting us to schedule delivery.

Love, love, love!
Updated my living room to have a British Colonial/West Indies vibe. So, of course, I just had to purchase two of the Augusto chairs and one ottoman in the navy leather to be placed in front of my fireplace. By adding an antique trunk, antique end table, a couple of palm trees and a couple of pieces of antique crockery all on a vibrant rug, my look is complete. And I couldn’t be happier! The Augusto chairs are perfect-not only beautiful but comfortable. Highly recommend!

Grandin Road never disappoints, and this is no exception, but EXCEPTIONAL! I love this chair! I've been eyeing it and the ottoman for a long time and purchased them to replace another one that wore out - YAY! And I'm certain I'll never need to replace this one!

Is this chair difficult to get out of if you have short legs? I'm 5ft 1/2 inch tall and some chairs where the seat is higher in the front than in the seat are hard to get out of.

I’ve never owned bonded leather. Do you recommend a specific leather conditioner to soften and hopefully prolong the lifespan? The leather is basically dry rotting after a year.

Massage evenly into the bonded leather, taking extra time to focus on the most used areas. Wipe off excess conditioner and allow it to dry completely.
