It says leather, but is it genuine. There is so much bonded leather being sold for genuine leather prices.
Can I get a sample of the brown color, need to see this before I make this large investment.
In the mailing I received it appears this comes in black, but I don't see that online. Does this come in black?

Leather Storage Ottoman
This ottoman looks great in front of our sofa. It's the perfect height for putting our feet up. Storage area is great, but then you can't put anything decorative on top without having to move it.

Beautiful soft leather
Love the leather on this ottoman storage piece. The top opens and closes with pneumatic hinges. The top is minimally cushioned. I would have preferred it softer and thicker. Otherwise a quality functional piece.

Nice bench
I bought this bench for storage and an extra seating. It works great for that. The only problem is it came with a poke in the top. It is like something was under the leather when it was upholstered, but you can not feel anything there. It also stains very easily. The first day water dripped from a glass and it left marks on the leather.

Augusto furniture problem with quality control
I love the look of the Augusto furniture series but the thing I learned to watch out for is the quality of the workmanship. I previously ordered the Augusto folding chairs for my dining room table and I ended up ordering a total of six chairs to get four that were in reasonable condition. I took a chance on ordering the ottoman to go with the chairs. It took about six months from the time i ordered it till i received it. Fortunately the delivery guy was nice enough to wait for me to upack and inspect it before leaving. I found two large spots - one on the top and one on the side - where the die had rubbed off. He told me I could refuse delivery and he'd take it back, which is what I did. I opted to get a different ottoman from Grandin Road - the Silas storage bench in navy - and I love it. Great color and excellent workmanship

This was my worst mail order purchase so far- GR has very high quality products but this is not one of them- leather is a truly ugly color- they would not send a swatch ahead of time and the edge is unfinished leather- it is so ugly- it was so expensive for what I got
