Grandin Road had this chair at a great price with options for additional slipcovers in performance fabrics. I had looked for chairs specifically with slipcovers in a performance fabric. These chairs checked off all the boxes for durability and a quality. The chairs are well made and very comfortable. I am considering purchasing the side chairs as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by VAdesigns from comfortable slipcovered dining chair We've had these chairs just about a month and so far they are holding up well. They are very comfortable and look great but I will say they sit up higher than most dining chairs, so be sure the apron on your table will allow room for your legs. I was disappointed to discover that the slipcover fabric is NOT machine washable, which sort of defeats the purpose of a slipcover, especially if you have children. And I'm not sure why they call it a performance fabric when it can't be washed. I ordered a fabric sample and nowhere on the card does it say the fabric is dry clean only, but the tag on the actual slipcover states this. Because of this, I have been hesitant to steam the skirts and have been hoping all the wrinkles will come out as they hang. So far this hasn't happened. The slipcovers come folded up in a separate box and this is what creates all the wrinkles. The assembly of these chairs is not complicated but is NOT as easy as it looks and definitely requires two people. Once I saw how they went together I can understand why they have a weight limit. I hope, over time, they hold up, but for now, I am pleased with the size, shape, comfort and color of them. They come well packaged and we didn't have any issues with damage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Renrain from Took a chance but returning I was hoping to love these chairs but the color of the swatch I chose was not the same gray that came to my house . It’s a bit tricky to assemble and took an hour to set up . It’s a large chair and is too big to be comfortable at a dining table. Customer service was helpful and assured me of refunding my money minus delivery fee.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dr R from Wanted to love! I ordered these chairs looking for a less expensive option that the RH fabric chairs. The assembly is a bit tricky and two of the chairs were not made correctly so they were not able to be assembled properly (one of the chair legs would not rest on the ground). The slip covers are nice, although they do not fit very snug to the chair frames so they are a bit baggy which I did not like. Ultimately, I ended up returning them as I was not thrilled with the quality, even for the price.
