LOVE this rug!!
Needed a durable rug indoors to protect our main door to the outside.
This rug is so pretty with vibrant blue colors and vacuums well ( lighter weight suction).
Would definitely recommend this rug/ pad. Carpet tape keeps the corners in place.

Concrete Color Correction!
I’ve been considering an update to my patio area with an eye-catching, durable rug to match the blue and driftwood paint and blue and white accessories on my patio area and found the perfect match at Grandin Road. The outdoor Avalon Border Rug in the 5 x 7.5 ft. size brings everything together! See the before and after photos! It’s held up during much rain in NJ and hoping it lasts for a long time. Just love the look!

Classy Outdoor Rugs
Great outdoor rugs for our front porch. We purchased 2 runners to anchor 2 conversation seating areas each containing 2 chairs and a table between. These rugs are far superior to what you'd find in Big Box or Home Improvement stores. We also purchased the outdoor pad to put underneath the carpet to help keep them in place.

Great look
I used this under my patio set that is gray and white and wanted to add color with out a bold print. This worked perfectly and the quality of this rug is excellent. It’s also heavyweight and lays flat. I would totally recommend this rug.

Beautiful and functional!
Bought two of these a few weeks ago, and have them outside glass patio doors. The colors blend beautifully with the inside decor, and these keep the inside floors free of debris, etc, and also get wet feet dry before entering. Will be very easy to clean with a hose!!

Pool house project
I bought two Avalon Border rugs for our new pool house. They are very attractive. The only negative i might comment on is the solid color shows every spec of debris from foot traffic.

Avalon Rug is very nice and does show dirt.
We received our Avalon rug in April and could not put it on our deck until mid-May due to weather. So, I am rating it a 4 since I do not know how it will wear. We have the south, harsh sun in Colorado so it will be a true test. The colors are beautiful and I agree with other comments, it is more blue in the boarders than pictured. I thought there would be some taupe and there is none. Keep in mind, the center blue area shows everything. Lint, footprints, dirt, leaves, etc. I did not think about that when I bought it. Overall, beautiful rug, well made and great colors as long as you love blue.

Love the colors
Bought this in the 8 x 10 for my gazebo. Lays very flat and colors are great. As it is new, can’t speak for how it will wear or take to cleaning. Seems to be well made, time will tell.

The color shown in the magazine is a different color than the one I received!
It shows it with a gray and navy stripe.
Not light blue!
The quality is nice, but the picture was a miss representation miss of what it really is.

Borders frey very easily and vacuuming with a normal vacuum seems to pull out the fabric..

Poor construction
I bought an area rug and two runners less than two years ago. The colors are just beautiful but the quality is horrendous. Yarns keep pulling out even though we do not have pets or do not wear footwear that would cause this. I bought a yarn needle with a large eye so I could pull through to the backside….up to about 20 now.

Does Not Match Other Avalon Outdoor Rug
This is the only item I have ever been disappointed in from Grandin Road. The outside border looks like it is gray, but it is actually a bright light blue. I paired it with Avalon Geo Border & it is not quite a match.

Very pretty but can't handle SoCal Sun
I bought this rug last spring for our backyard seating area. It is a beautiful rug, however, it could not withstand the sun in southern California. I had the rug on the patio which is partially covered. The half that was not shaded literally disintegrated from the sun after 6 months. It says suitable for outdoors but does not withstand the extreme sun.
