Real magnifying glass

It’s a great gothic item
I always try to buy at least one Halloween item from Grandin Road every year because they have great products and know how to get their spook on. I also try to buy items on sale because most of their products are priced much higher than I can afford! Some of the prices this year seemed almost obscene, and certainly not available to the average consumer. But I’m a creature of habit, and Halloween isn’t Halloween without at least one Grandin Road product to add to my collection. (Halloween starts humming in my veins around July, so I shop early!) Bats have been a theme in my life for some reason this year, so when I saw this amazing magnifying glass and the very reasonable price, I grabbed it up! It’s very well made, has a great heft to it, and works very well helping my old eyes see the small print. I had meant it more for a decoration, but I keep it within arms reach every day now. It satisfied my yearly habit, and didn’t break my bank. I couldn’t be happier with it, and I highly recommend!

Disappointed
This is the first time Grandin Road has let me down. The picture shows a beautiful multi-hued finish, the one I recieved is just a cheap looking brown, and there's a scrape in the finish. This feels like a bait and switch.
