Amazing Halloween Bat Candle holders!
I bought these a month ago and THRILLED with them and received many compliments when I had a Halloween party this past weekend. Definitely plan on buying another set for next year:)

Sturdy and great quality
I disagree with the review commenting the distressing looked polka-dotted. Mine have sporadic distressing and look the part they are supposed to play. The are level, sturdy, well made, and a great addition to my Halloween mantle.

Wish I had another set!!
These are very large and sturdy candle sticks. Like the previous reviewer said, the distressing could have been done a little more natural, but nothing that can’t be fixed. Good item.

Love the details
Bought the candles and the Bat candle holders for Halloween this year. The bat’s wings are in different positions which is a detail that makes these holders unique. The candles are self timed which is a great feature, you don’t have to turn them on and off.

Just needed TLC
These Candles Sticks are Lovely and sturdy and well detailed - had to change the paint job and gave them a couple of coats of black mottled spray paint because "the stressed paint look" they came with took away from the beautiful detail of the bat holdres themselves - in fact so pleased with the final outcome that I have ordered a second pair and will look beautiful on my sideboards all year round,

Distressing!
I love the design of these bat candle holders. I also love the idea of them being distressed to appear old. However, the candle holders I received look polka dotted which is not a desirable appearance in this situation. The distressed areas are not random, they are evenly spaced for the most part and all look almost identical, just rotated a little. Not to mention that they are numerous, so numerous that it doesn't look like normal wear and age. For example, there is an almost identical 'spot' on each of the four corners and in the center of each of the square edges that form the base. Dots of gray are evenly spaced about an inch apart around and along the entire length of the candle stick. Instead of appearing worn and antique, the candle holders look like someone applied gray splotches in a consistent manner over the entire piece giving it a polka dot appearance instead. The appearance of the finish on the candle holders I received do not look the pictures on the website. No, just no. I am so disappointed in these candle holders as they are unique and have so much potential. I am considering repainting and aging them myself but for the price that should not be necessary. Where was quality control?
