How do these attach to the mantle? I have a granite fireplace and mantle and am looking for some type of stocking holder but cannot drill or hammer into mine

Loved these candy cane stocking holders. Look just like the picture. Added decoration to the mantle. They didn’t appear sturdy but they held a lot of items and the weight added to their secure hold.

Better than the real thing!
I love candy canes. I use them in a lot of my Christmas decorating. I saw candy cane stocking hangers around 5 years ago. I have been looking for them since then. I have 2 fireplaces and I hang stockings on them both. One has a stone mantel so I can't tack any small nails or thumbtacks on to hold the stockings. The other fireplace has a new mantle my son bought me, and I had no desire to put any holes, no matter how small in them. I was delighted when I found them on Grandin Road. I ordered two sets. I had been using heavy metal stocking hangers. They were very pretty but they were large and hid the Christmas decorations I had on the mantles.
The candy cane hangers are the perfect solution. I just love them and the touch of
Christmas past they add to our home.
My son wanted to go away for Christmas this year. He wanted to have some decorations there. Of course, he wanted to bring his stockings. Since we were going, he commandeered my candy cane hangers and put back up my metal hangers. Now I can't quite see the "Believe" sign I also got from Grandin Road this past Christmas. I wish he would bring my candy cane hangers back. They hold heavy stockings with no problems. and I had no trouble with them hanging on the stone or wood mantle. The cost is so much less than the heavy metal stockings. I highly recommend the candy cane stocking holders.

CANDY CANE STOCKING HOLDERS
THESE WERE PERFECT FOR HANGING MY STOCKINGS ON OUR ENTERTAINMENT CNETER BECUASE WE DO NOT HAVE A FIREPLACE. THEY ARE VERY EXPENSIVE LOOKING AND CAN HOLD A LOT OF WEIGHT.
