After sitting in a box for months awaiting my arrival, I unpacked and assembled the lamp only to find that the pole (threaded tube) is not centered in the base making it look "OFF." Further, one of the prongs in the lamp shade fitting is not even attached to the shade?! So, while it works and looks good, the construction is not great.
