I read a response to a question that stated the cord is on the left side of the garland strand. If y outlet is on the right side of my mantle, how would I be able to use this?
I tried flipping. It’s not that easy and didn’t look good. This is a design flaw every fireplace I’ve lived with had the outlet on the right or built into mantle. But. I just had to run an extension cord behind the garland to get to the plug.

How do these attach to stay in place on mantle?
I use large 3M adhesive hooks, like the kind you put on back of door for coats etc

Natural looking and versatile...
As a display manager for department stores, I started putting Christmas up at Halloween for 13 years and worked with a lot of faux greenery. This garland can be fluffed out to look natural and slightly wild, and it was perfect for the top of a small Armoire, hanging down about 3 feet on each side. It was well lit and you could add dried flowers or extra greenery to it to change the look. Well worth the money and very good quality, a great buy that rates 5 stars.

Love this garland! The sections that hang down give a vey sophisticated and elegant look to any mantle. I tucked in faux red apples for a touch of color. Highly recommend.
