Great buy!
I looked around a lot to find a well made sofa. One with 8 way hand tied springs, kiln dried hardwood base and down/foam cushions as well as a durable, easy clean fabric. I found some elsewhere, for at least double the cost! This sofa is all that I hoped it would be. Great looking and very comfortable for napping. The customer service with Grandinroad is excellent too.

Excellent buy!
Replaced current couch with this one. Absolutely love it! The couch is firm and comfortable. The back cushions withstand 4 large cats sleeping on them and hold their shape. Fabric is soft yet durable. Fits my small space but would work well in a large room too. Exceeded my expectations.

Slipcovers
The slipcovers are a project to put on the cushions. It took 2 of us 1 hour to complete the task. The sofa looks beautiful but not sure how often I will change slipcovers because of this reason.

Classic design and soft to the touch slip covers
We like the slip covered sofa very much. The slip covers seem to be a very good quality. However, the reason for the 4 stars is that the slip covers took both of us an hour at least to put on. We payed for white glove delivery service. Delivery guys did a good job with moving the heavy sofa indoors. We knew we had to put the covers on. We had no idea how long and difficult the chore was.

Nice sofa!
Ordered this a few months ago. First we couldn't find the legs. Be aware that they are underneath the sofa in a zippered pouch. Problem solved. Next, the first slipcover was too small and wouldn't zip. A new one was sent out and fits great. Be aware that you'll need to iron or steam the cover but otherwise it looks good. Sofa is comfortable and a good buy for the price. I've now decided to get another one to complete the look I want to achieve.

Coverslipped sofa
Bought this for a new FL home so have not unpacked it completely as it will now go with the movers. Can't readily find the legs... It is larger in real life than it looks in the photos.

Great sofa, slipcovers are a problem
Loved the sofa, but the slipcovers are not easy to put on or take off. The zipper in the back take 2 people and much time to zip down even on the first installation. After the first dry cleaning of the slipcovers, we are unable to get the zippers down now. One actually broke trying to zip it down. This is for a summer rental and the sofas are now discontinued so we had to put a cabinet in back of the sofa to cover the open zipper. Just not worth it in the end.Wish I had bought something more high quality.

Slip covers are NOT washable. Dry clean only!
Sofa is well made and I really like it. The only reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is that the slip covers are dry clean only and not especially easy to put on. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of buying a slip cover sofa? I purchased this because I have dogs and wanted to be able to toss the covers in the washer when needed. I ended up buying a slipcover from Surefit to cover my slipcover sofa.

Good and bad...
Good: Everything I have bought from Grandin Road has been high quality, including this sofa. Bad: The slipcovers are extremely hard to get on the cushions. Once they are on, the lining over the cushions bunches up and you can see the wrinkles through the slipcover. The back cushions look lumpy/wrinkled no matter what I do. I like a firm sofa, but this one takes firm to a different level. I measured like crazy before I bought it and it seems that the seats are deeper and the armrests are lower than expected. So, when you go to put your elbow on the armrest, you have to lean over a bit. Maybe this is built for someone taller than I am (5'5"). I love slipcovered sofas, but for some reason, manufacturers don't realize that the main reason to have a slipcover is so you can wash them. If the cover is not washable and it is extremely hard to get them on and off, it defeats the purpose.

Looks Good in Photo
This sofa looks great in the photos. However, the slipcovers are incredibly difficult to put on the pillows and sofa cushions. The slipcover is also terribly wrinkled. There are no suggestions on how to get rid of the wrinkles or how to put the covers on the cushions. Not happy with the look at all now that it is in my living room. Zipper broken (unattached) when I unpacked the slipcover. Will have to get an upholsterer in to fix it.

Clara slipcovered sofa
Love the look but was extremely disappointed that I had to put the slipcovers on. It was extremely difficult to squeeze the cushions into the slip covers. Unable to zip the back, just too tight. Comfort just ok.

Look Great! Comfortable...But!
Ordered the sofa, two gliders and ottoman in mid-March. The ottoman was received in early April; the sofa received in late April with a hole in the base of it as if someone had put a forklift tine through it. The sofa was replaced after multiple pictures and e-mails were sent back and forth.
The gliders were finally delivered on July 30, 4 1/2 months after first order everything. One of the gliders had a nail protruding from the back of it and the zipper on the slipcover of the second glider broke on installation.
I was informed by the customer service rep that these items have been liquidated and are no longer available for replacement so I am now reduced to taking a credit and having to arrange to have the zipper replaced locally.
Decent product, iffy quality control, too much time and effort to correct the problems.
