Love it!
Tried to order the garland last season and it was out of stock. Made sure this year I was early. Love the garland! It's very realistic and I like that it's flexible and less dense than some of the others. Very happy with it.

Beautiful Garland
This garland is so impressive and so realistic. I originally bought one to place across the mantel and wanted to purchase more but they were sold out. I waited until the garland was back in stock after Christmas, and purchased another 2. The batteries last about 4 weeks. The only down side of this garland is the battery pack is large and not easy to hide. I love the little white lights and there were just enough of them. I would recommend this garland to anyone. The pine garland is so soft and easy to shape. It certainly wins my vote, as it doesn't dry and shed. :)

It's not perfect but...
I have looked for years for the perfect cordless garland for my stair rails, returned many too, but this year I thought I'd give this a try. Ok so it's not perfect, it doesn't look exactly like picture, certainly not as full, BUT it does drape nice. At first sight of the battery box I was shocked at the size but I made it work with hiding it mostly with pretty ribbon. I had to be creative hanging it because it's a little heavy with the battery box and 3 c batteries in each. But you know what, I got many compliments on my stair rail, they came on EVERY night at 5pm when I set it and went off 6 hrs later, just as stated. The entire month of December and into January, they worked every night! Right there, I was thrilled! Overall, it's been the best garland I've tried over the years for the price. Now hopefully they work just as well next year after sitting in a box for a year!

Love that it drapes
I ordered 3 of these. Two were perfect, but one appeared to be a bad return with missing branches, light clips were taken off, the battery pack was broken and it had a messy appearance (unlike the other two so I will be returning one). It is true to size. I love that this Garland is soft and drapes. The battery pack is rather large and hard to hide. For my stairs I was able to tuck the battery pack underneath by using the GR Garland Decorative Ties.

This works great on my 6' fireplace mantle. Battery operated so no cords hanging. I added the pine cone light string too which really looks nice. Also battery operated. I've had them lit every evening for 2 weeks and the original batteries are still working.

Soft Pine Garland
I love the way this garland looks however I was disappointed when it arrived. A number of the pine branches were broken off. It is still useable and looks good.

Pretty But Thin
This garland looks fairly natural and is beautifully pre-lit, with just the right amount of lights. It's thin so on my large fireplace mantel it wasn't the right scale. I beefed it up with ribbon and ornaments. You could also combine two garlands, which would look great. The garland is plastic and the needles are not attached very well to the main stem, so pieces fall off easily. But very quick and easy to put up and looks really pretty. Overall a good purchase.

it's nice, but wanted more
I read the reviews and thought this was finally the one. I like that it is more flat so easily can be put on tables and or mantles and can have decor put around it. I felt it could have had more lights and also found that the on/off switch on the inside of the box that houses the batteries is a giant pain once you get it all situated on a entry table and get all the decor around it including a small lamp I have there. I had to hide the giant battery box in some of the garland and decor and each time I have to turn it on or off I need to un bury the battery box to open it and turn it off then retouch up the table to hide it all over again each and every day.

Pretty from a distance but not well made
The greenery keeps falling off and for the price I paid, that should not happen. Also, the lights are not very bright (even with new batteries).

Not as full as pictured
I was a bit disappointed with this garland. I had bought the cascading garland from Grandin Road a couple years ago and love it. The picture makes this one look a LOT more full than it does in person. I'm not sure if I got a defective one because I bought this based on other great reviews. I was ultimately able to make it work on our banister, but wish I could say it looked as great as the cascading one!

It's just okay
I was looking for a garland that I could use on my banister. I bought two of these as they looked good in Grandinroad's picture. While I love the look of this garland and the lights, I felt it was not very "workable". The greenery is only on one side with the stem on the other. I tried wrapping my banister, hanging it but nothing worked that didn't show a large section of the stem which had no greenery. I also felt it was cheaply made for a Grandinroad product. A couple of the branches fell out and I had to reinsert them. While I did not return the garland, I decided to use them as a backdrop in a display as the lights were a nice gentle look. Disappointed and won't buy this product again for a banister.

Nice for Exterior decor
This garland is not well made, many pieces have detached and I will be surprised if I can get more than three seasons out of them. However, it looks better than the real cedar garland I put up last year and I like the lights. Its pretty light weight so it's easy to hang. I wouldn't use this in any spot that you will be close-up as it's thin and obviously not real once you get close.
But for exterior decor it works really well.

Not worth the price
First the positive. From a distance these look pretty nice draped about my front door especially when the lights were on. The bad points: 1.) Bought 4 strands last holiday season (2016) and when I pulled it out this season, 2 of the 4 no longer lit up. Changed batteries, cleaned battery pack area-did not work. 2.) They smell so awful that there is no way to have them inside the house-also probably not healthy (off-gasing). 3) As has been shared by others, the battery packs are huge. This is not shown in the pictures. I could have lived with this issue if half of them were not broken after one season of use!

Not worth the price
I did a lot of searching for the perfect "soft" faux garland this year and I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend the money on this one. It's pretty, and the timer button on the battery pack is convenient, but I am pretty disappointed with the quality of it given the price.

Terrible Product
The battery box on the end of the garland is enormous, heavy, and difficult to hide. I put this up and 3/4 of the lights quit working a week later. Now I have to return a big bulky item. Very disappointed.

Not as expected
I purchased this garland hoping it would drape and be pliable for hanging. Sadly, it is very stiff and not flexible. The battery pack is huge and dangles off of one of the ends (which do not look like the picture on the website). Returned this product.

This looks nothing like the picture. And not lifelike in the least. It truly is plastic though, that part of the description is accurate. I would not put this anywhere in my house. Extremely disappointed and expected more for what I paid.

Looks very cheap
Does not look like the picture - it is very plasticy. It has a big brown chord that the plastic pine hangs off of, but it's very sparse and bare. For this price, I would expect a much better product. I purchased a few for a hotel lobby and sent them back immediately. Definitely would not put this up in a hotel or my house.

Had to return
The greenery is nice and good distribution of lights but the battery pack is large and when filled with batteries, very difficult to attach to the banister without it and the attachment showing. Might work on a mantle but needed for long banisters so had to return. Customer service was great on the return which is why I will be a repeat customer.

POOR QUALITY!!!
Purchased this on sale and was super excited when it arrived today....I have never been more disappointed. The item looked like it was returned by a previous customer...packaged terribly!!!!! The box where you put in the batteries was missing parts and the rubber coating was falling off! Such junk.
Save your money.

Is there some sort of labeling error? What is shown is faux cedar garland. Is it really dim LEDs and not incandescent?
Yes. I too see CEDAR garland. The trees in the same photo are pine. Wha are really getting? I want cedar. I am so tired of fluffing all 23 of my 9ft mixed pine garlands every year. My only concern is how easily I'll be able to remove these leds. I am not a fan of LED. The lack the sparkle. And who wants to be running around changing batteries every day. Not me. Not to mention how very un-GREEN using batteries is.
