Does the DARCY have a backing? Also, how heavy is it? Does it easily stay flat where someone wouldn't trip over the edges? Or does it flip up at times?
Thank you for your interest in the Darcy Rug. The backing will be the same as the front of the rug. This will lay flat and it should not flip up and cause any tripping. The rug will vary in weight depending on the size that you order.

As beautiful in Person
I love, love, love this rug! I have it in my family room - Our furniture is peacock blue and the curtains are pale purple. It looks amazing. No waiting for it to lay flat, it is so heavy and well made it laid immediately upon unrolling it.
