Rated 5 out of 5 by dootsie1012 from Very Striking Addition to Dining Room I ordered two of these to sit under two high windows (like transom windows) in a new home we had built. I knew I could not use a traditional china cabinet but I wanted storage and display function. I also did not want open shelving where I would have to dust frequently. The hardware in the house (door knobs, hinges, cabinet pulls, etc.) are all matte black so I though this cabinet would fit right in. Also love the arched top - gives a little curve to an area otherwise dominated by angles (dining area is open and adjacent to kitchen). We have not moved in yet but I have already put a couple items in the cabinets just to see how it looks. One think I might change is to paper the back wall of the cabinet to lighten the interior up a bit but haven't decided yet what that will be - maybe a grass cloth of some sort. Love the doors on the cabinets - they are metal and very substantial. Doors close easily and everything is in alignment. These are nicely built and I am very please with them.

So it had to be both functional and beautiful. The Declan cabinet is both. Although it’s made of manufactured wood, it’s very sturdy. The iron trim is classy and there’s a strong magnetic latch. Shipping and delivery were very professional; the shipper kept me informed about the delivery (it came early!) and the cabinet was extremely well packaged, so no mars. This is definitely a “keeper”!

It was packed unbelievably well and arrived in perfect shape! It’s so gorgeous and very affordable compared to some of these other cabinets I have seen!!!! It truly is a stunning cabinet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TeriH from Beautiful, but Delicate delivery necessary Beautiful, but delicate! This cabinet is heavy upon delivery, the doors are iron and glass and the cabinet wood. They necessarily need to be put on a dolly to get anywhere because there is no “grip” at top of cabinet to hold on to. So, weight will bend the hinges and doors will not align perfectly. Also, dolly took a small chunk out of what appears to be particle board. Expensive for the materials. Still beautiful and don’t regret purchase!
