Big and Beautiful
They are lovely and have incredible presence. I played with them to get an idea of how they would fit with other my decorations, and have decided to let them stand on their own with no other yard decorations. Both the doe and the buck are good size. I was afraid they might be smaller than hoped, dog-size or so, but they are are impressive. The doe is very slightly larger than the buck, though not taller due to his antlers. If she is behind him, you can't tell. They are very easy to assemble. They basically just fold out and are locked into place with bars. After Christmas, they will fold down small enough and flat enough to fit flush to the back wall of spare closet, which is nice. They seem sturdy. The doe got tripped into, knocked over, and fallen upon and she is no worse for the wear,

Lots of scratches
For as well packed as these were I was surprised to see so many scratches on both the doe and the buck. Plus the buck's short rod was missing 2 holes. My husband was able to drill them out but not everyone would be able to do this. Overall I really like them though. I plan to look for some jingle bell collars for them. I wish they'd been included.

Never mind my question about offering these again in future -- I thought they weren't available, because I tried to order them without selecting the doe or stag!
