Got the brass version after wrestling back and forth over the two options (and the price) for FOREVERRRR. Bought two and absolutely love them. They class up the whole look of the house, which seems outlandish to say about hose pots and seems silly to be so surprised about when that’s what I was hoping for, but… I’m impressed y’all. The lid helps a TON with keeping out dust and spiders (though it’s not immune to the creepy crawlies with the hole in the bottom-ish side). It’s not as convenient as having a “help-you-roll-it-up” hose container with a handle, but it sure beats having the hose on the ground and doing your best to hand-over-hand organize it into a neat donut pile. The “pillar” in the center of the pot helps with this and my husband noted that the hose doesn’t kink like it did when we would twist it into an “organized pile” on the ground before.
