I saw fog from within the mirror, swirling...but see no mention of this in description. Is fog part of mirror or added-on illusion just for sale’s purpose?
No fog, only illusion in sales video. Looks bad without it. Not worth the money, maybe a third of the price but not what it costs now. Terrible and not Grandin Road quality.

Spooky Ghost Mirror
Mirror and Image look great and best viewed in dim light or darkness. I like the image a lot just wish it would do a little more random moves otherwise it’s great. The mirror looks like a real mirror and the wood frame is nice looking, seems quality made.

Beautiful but expect better quality
The frame on this mirror is very detailed! It is absolutely beautiful! The actual mirror is very thick so I had to corner it on a table. It looks very weird just hanging on a wall because it sticks out so far. I am giving it 3 stars because the “girl” or animation does not go all the way to the bottom of the glass, the animation starts about 2 inches above the glass so there is just a line and 2 inches of mirror when it is on. For the price I expect this to be perfect.

Not my favorite
I wasn’t that impressed with the quality. I could see wrinkles in the background, and the side of the ghost display didn’t go all the way to the edge so you could see the inner mechanism working. The mechanism makes kind of a loud sound but if you have the sound volume up, it’s not too bad. I just wish there weren’t so many flaws in ghost part of the picture- especially for the price.

Mirror Mirror Not so Hot
Very heavy. Doesn’t have smoke effect (it looks that way in the video) and is much deeper than I would have expected, standing off the wall by about 4 inches. Bottom has a big black line that ruins the mirror “effect”. Sound is great and the image is really cool as long as you don’t stand too close (you see a lot of imperfections). Bottom line: too expensive for the quality of the product.

Neat idea
I ordered 2 of these mirrors, one was a gift. Of the 2, the one I gave as a gift had a large crack in the mirror. GrandinRoad was great, and exchanged the cracked one of another one. When the exchange arrived, it had 2 cracks and along the edge where they screw the frame to the mirror, it was bulging in 2 places. After 2 tries I opted to get a refund. The mirror is neat, however the ghost is hard to see unless all the lights are out and it is dark. Otherwise it’s more of a shadow.

Stands inches out from wall; poorly made
I really wish I had loved this. For the money, I thought it would be a good quality prop. Instead, it stands at least four to five inches off the wall (I guess to get the shadow box effect; I didn't look closely enough at the pictures to notice) so I can't put it on most walls - it has to be at the end of a hallway or in a place in a room that you look at dead on. It also is super cheap looking. I'm probably going to hand paint the wood mirror portion (it looks trashy as is) and the "mirror" looks like nothing but a wavy bit of plastic. Honestly the only way I see this working is at the end of a dark hallway with super low lights (you can't see the image otherwise) and even then it looks pretty cheap. It's cool enough in concept (and shipping is enough of a pain) that I'll be keeping it, and will see what I can do to improve. But they need to drop the price point WAY down for this to be anything I would recommend.
That said, I'm knocking this from a two to a three for having volume control. That's really a huge plus.

Way smaller than it appears!
This is my 3rd Halloween mirror I have bought from GR and it’s def my least favorite of those purchased. It’s way smaller than I had imagined and it very dark and almost hard to make out what is happening. I do love that you can adjust the volume! Overall I will add it to my collection but it’s def not a favorite.

Don't get sucked in by the sales video. I did. Reality is nowhere near the marketing. Not worth the money, maybe a third of the price but not what it costs now. Terrible and not Grandin Road quality. It is super tiny and looks cheap. The "mirror" face is like a wavy plastic sheet that catches a reflection no matter if lights are on or off. Weird black bar at the bottom of the image is a total detraction from the image. The movement is good, but the light behind the girl is far too light. Even in fully black house, it's washed out and hard to make out. I'm currently in process of returning it.
