Beautiful planters
I ordered two of these to place on our porch. They look wonderful and I can wait to see them planted up this spring! I'm looking forward to not having to be as diligent about my watering with this planter although we live near Lake Michigan and experience lots of wind. I'm anxious to see how successful they will be in limiting the number of times we have to water our plants. I'll try to remember to come back to this review and give an update,

Great product!
I ordered two of these planters a few months ago and decided to hold off on writing a review until I could see how the self-watering feature performed. First of all, the planters look great and are definitely big enough that they make a statement. Secondly, in regards to the performance, they are great performers! There are two ways you can water your plants; either through the dirt or through the top hole, and no need to worry about whether or not you are adding too much water because these planters have a tattle tale hole about a third of the way up, so make sure you face that side of the box toward an area that you don't mind water spilling out or in a non visible direction. At first I thought that hole was a defect until I saw it on the second planter I purchased and realized what it was for.
You can't go wrong with these planters, my flowers look great in them and they are very low maintenance due to the self watering feature.

Wow! Perfect Planters for Patio

Devon Large Planter
The large Devon self-watering planter is very nice. I ordered the black one to match our shutters. It is large enough that I don't worry about the soil drying out and the size has some presence in our small rowhouse garden.

Nice planters. Need better information on website
I purchased four large black planter boxes and they look great. Placed together they make an excellent low planter box retaining wall for a courtyard. The information on the website, unfortunately only gave exterior dimensions and the interior measurements are significantly different than those measurements represented on the website. I purchased the plant material the same time the order was shipped, so unfortunately they did not fit in the containers. The warning about potential weight limitations was also not on the website but very clearly stated in the packaging.

Attractive planter
This planter is very attractive, especially from the curb. Unfilled, it is very light plastic and looks almost like styrofoam. The inner reservoir works exceptionally well; after a week of no rain the soil is still moist. However, the planter can get really heavy after a severe rainstorm. We had bought the brackets to hang our window boxes on our deck railing. With one windy, rainy storm two of the vertical deck rails popped off from the weight of the planter!

Devon planters
I have many Devon window box planters and matching square Devon patio planters, so I was excited to add to them with these rectangular Devon patio planters. Everything is great, but they are behemoths!! I had no idea they'd be so big. They are 4" taller than the square ones, and quite long. There is no false bottom, so they require a LOT of soil.

Beautiful but...
The planters were just what we were looking for! They came quickly and look great. Until we looked closely at one of them and there was a hole in the side of it. We are in the process of exchanging it now, and have no doubts the replacement will be great. Thinking of purchasing the matching smaller planters now as well!

Black self watering planter
They are beautiful. I planted them exactly according to the instructions. The black gets so hot that where the plants touch it, the stems burned and died from that point out. The do not seem to provide the continuous water the way they are designed to do and required daily watering. They were expensive and a great idea but something much cheaper would have worked just as well in my opinion.

I purchased this planter last year and didn’t get a chance to install. I no longer have the directions to mount it under the window. I did buy the corbels but I know they are only for decoration. Where can I find directions to install.
