Beautiful Lamp but a few issues
I ordered this lamp before I realized I had the same lamp in table lamp style so I must have been attracted to it before. It is very well made, nice thick glass shades and the metal finish is attractive. Two things to note though. It does not come with light bulbs even through the catalog entry and assembly sheet say it does. But Grandin Road will make it right and I appreciate the customer service. A little more tricky was the on/off switch is a button on the cord like they have for Christmas trees. I had to finagle it to position it where it would be convenient to use. If I plugged it in how I would have liked the button would have been under the sofa.

Easy to fit together, used 40 watt bulbs just for ambience. Very pretty in daylight as well. As an aside, I dropped one of the globes on hardwood and it didn’t break! Nice and thick glass.

This is a very sturdy lamp. Unfortunately during shipment two of the three glass shades arrived shattered. I called and this quality company sent another lamp. That is customer service at it finest. You absolutely get what you pay for. Looking for more products to purchase. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dreamer glass lamp
The lamp shades are truly works of art. Assembly included a few simple steps. I had some initial difficulty getting the parts of the pole to align properly. If the screw threads in the pole pieces are not aligning properly and the pole looks bent, unscrew the parts and try again. Third time was a charm for me. Also life will be simpler if you assemble the lamp near where you plan to use it.The shades tend to clang against the pole when the lamp is being moved.

Great looking lamp
My husband and I really love the look of this lamp. We have absolutely no complaints from an appearance standpoint. Also, the lamp seems to be sturdy and well-made. The only complaint we have is that the lamp doesn't put out a lot of light. The description states that it takes max 25W bulbs, and the lamp comes with 25W incandescent bulbs. Even with three bulbs, the lamp doesn't put out what I would call "usable" light. It's more dim mood-lighting. That would be fine if that's what you're looking for, but I bought it to place next to my work desk so that I can work without having to turn on the main room light. My husband says it should still work though as he's going to replace the bulbs with 10W LED bulbs that put out a lot more light (equivalent to a 100W incandescent). So with the right bulbs, the lamp should be perfect.

More than I had hoped for
We purchased this gorgeous lamp in the fire colors. It is absolutely stunning, so much so that we turned right around and purchased the companion table lamp. The quality is top notch and the icing on the cake was that the floor lamp was on sale when I made the purchase. The colors are rich and vivid and have that artisan quality look. I had looked for a new lamp for ages and am so glad I held out until I found this one.

The photos in no way capture the beauty of floor lamp. It is simply a piece of art. The glass has calming design and color. When the light is on, it casts an incredible glow. East to assemble and wonderfully constructed. It is the impeccable quality I have come to expect from Grandin Road.

Is the plug the flat type that doesn't stick out from the wall? I need to plug it into an electrical outlet on the floor and conceal under an area rug. I can't have the plug sticking up under the rug. I need it to lay flat.
