what is weight limit ???
How high are these counter chairs?
Are the bar stools seat height actually 30 inches high. I see a lot of bad reviews saying the counter heights are about 2 inches too low.
EMMETT TUFTED BAR HEIGHT STOOL-what is weight limit for this stool? Are there any issues with the tufting 'holding up"? would like verification of the quality and comfort of the stool...no children, no pets, no 'abuse' to the stools...just daily use.

Beautiful kitchen stools!!!
I bought the Emmett Tufted stools about a month ago, and I am so glad I did! They are beautiful and comfortable. I looked for stools like these for sometime because they are good quality at a reasonable price, and they definitely fit the bill.

Beautiful barstools!
I looked for months for the perfect counter-height stools. These are absolutely beautiful from every angle. I love that they are leather. They are buttery soft and very high quality. I loved the rolled back! They are exactly what I was looking for.

Great quality and CORRECT SEAT HEIGHT
I was seeking a 24" seat height counter stool to use at a desk in our kitchen. The Emmett stool seemed like just what I was seeking but I was worried about complaints in some reviews about the seat height being incorrect. However , with the great price and style, I decided to go ahead and buy the stool. I could not be more pleased with my purchase.
The quality and workmanship is great. As soon as I took the stool out of the box I measured the seat height. It is exactly 24" as specified on the website. Seat height is always measured from the top of the seat cushion, NOT the edge of the seat. (People, if you don't even know how to use a tape measure, please don't write reviews!)
If you are looking for a great quality 24" seat height counter stool at a good price, I think the Emmett is a fine choice.

Love the stools
These are at our kitchen counter. Love the backs are not too high so you can still research over them if doing a buffet style on the island. Got them on sale and got a great price. Made it even better.

Royal style
The quality is top notch and details such as pint-tucking and buttons add so much. The rolled backs also make these stools very comfortable and easy to see over when used in an island situation. My problem is they are a bit short for my countertops/island. I am rather short waisted so these are not for the petite.

Quality control
I bought 2 counter height stools for my kitchen island. The stools are shorter than what I had previously, but they fit fine. I actually prefer the lower profile against the counter. It is a beautiful stool! I bought these while on sale. A great buy actually! Shipping was fast & the stools were well packaged. When unboxed I found the legs to have some scratches. But also one stool had a crack in the wood clean through in the stringer section. I am disappointed in the quality & the lack of inspection prior to shipping. I did buy knowing I could not return, but did not intend to buy a damaged product. Fortunately, my husband was able to fix & it came with a wood color crayon to fill imperfections. I am concerned about longevity of product though. I doubt I will ever purchase from this company again. I need quality over a good buy. Lesson learned.

Lovely but low
These stools are beautiful looking and comfortable. However, they are lower than average counter height stools. I would have loved to return them for a different set of bar stools but they were non returnable unfortunately. Be sure to check measurements before purchasing. We are now stuck with these counter height barstools that are too short. Quality seems good so far…have only had them for less than a month.

The chairs were perfect in height and color. The seat cushion on the other hand was not firm at all. If it was made with more cushion, I would have rated it a "5".

Counter stools are too low!
They are not the height that they are advertised to be. The seat height is supposed to be 24” high but they are only 22” high which makes them too low to use at my client’s table. They look nice and the leather seemed like it was good quality.
I have contacted customer service regarding the problem as they are not returnable and have proposed that we exchange them for the bar stools which I can then have cut down. I had the client save the original boxes and they have not been used! I have not heard back from customer service yet as to what they are willing to do for us?

This was just delivered. These are 22” counter height. Absolutely not 24”.

I actually loved these stools, except for the fact that they were advertised as 24 inches high & were actually 22 inches high. We had to return them for alternate stools which were more expensive.

Your DIMS are wrong This counter stool is TOO low
The dimensions on your website are incorrect. The seat height is 22 INCHES. Your drawing says 24 INCHES. This counter bar stool is too low. It looks squatty and doesn't work at a kitchen Island. I took a lot of time measuring and considering all the stools you have to offer. I purchased a discontinued one similar to the Lusso and loved it. My husband wore it out so I wanted to replace it and get a second. I would have returned them but it is too much trouble to re-crate them. I wish I ordered something different.

So disappointed
This was the stool I’ve been looking for…classic, no tacks, etc. Unfortunately, as noted by previous reviewer (whose word I wish I’d trusted) the seat height upon arrival is actually too low for comfort at standard counter. This is 24 inch height stool. My 15 year old squished down ones I’m trying to replace still sit better than this one. Glad I only bought one, as shipping that back will be more than enough!

These aren't barstools they are table chairs 4 inches shorter than all other counter bar stools. I have small children counter is neck high for them.

Counter stools are 2 inches short
Lovely beautiful well built. Website and catalogue advertise as 24 inch seat height. Unfortunately actual seat height is 22 inches making them uncomfortably low at counter
