Absolute must buy for extra bed
Great engineering on this bed -- efficient with how it self inflates/deflates and looks great with the correct bedding. My recommendation is to get a pillow topper for the blow up mattress for comfort. Thrilled to have it for those extra guests.

Great extra bed for guests
I probably should get a commission for how often I recommended these beds to friends and family. A store in the closet and use as an extra bed for guests. I add a feather bed or foam piece on top of mattress and guests love the comfort and sleep really well!

This bed's the bomb
This bed was just what I needed over the holidays to accomodate all my guests. It was so easy to set up, was comfortable (so I was told!) and looked like a real bed when made up, not an air mattress sitting on the floor. Just took it down and I was amazed at how easy it was. If you need extra sleeping space for guests, this is the bed for you!! Regular queen size mattress pad and sheets fit perfectly.

Buy these beds!
My grandchildren used these beds for the first time at Thanksgiving at my new beach cottage. We set them up in the garage so they would have some privacy. My grandson is over 6 feet tall. My granddaughter is about 5 feet 5 inches. Both of them loved the beds and the bedding. These beds work perfectly for me!

How firm are these mattresses?
It can get pretty firm, if you hand adjust it for a bit after shutoff, but don't go too much.
Love the mattress and guests can't tell it is an air mattress. We use a mattress topper on ours so it doesn't feel cold.

Just got the following answer from a GrandinRoad product specialist: The EZ Bed with Auto Shutoff is just an updated version of the Classic Inflatable EZ Bed. We added new features and reinforcements to the seams in order to improve longevity and performance.
