Works great.
This worked for me exactly as I'd hoped. I have a single door with a transom above it and I placed the holder within the bottom of the frame of the transom so the frame would help support the weight of my thick lush double garland. It worked like a charm.
I do think that it would stay up inside the top of the regular doorframe, although the garland would hang down a lot lower and the back of the hanger would be visible inside the doorway. But my way feels a lot safer since people have to walk under it.

Great Range on Dimensional Fit Holds Weight Rating
I bought months back and put in place to see how it worked through hot and cold weather cycles. Could not be happier. Went fron high 90s to low 40s and never loosened or shifted. Hung garland after Thanksgiving and no issues. Recommend you follow directions carefully on fitting and tightening of the device.

Great for Christmas but also for year round use
So glad I got this - had the wreath hanger but got this for Christmas and for the rest of the year - to put my fern garland up and added all the little things that I had added to my wreath - so perfect for both

Perfect solution! Totally worth the price!
I bought this last year for my Christmas decor. Easy to install and attractive. Unintrusive. I ended up just leaving it up, as it’s under a covered porch. It’s not noticeable and doesn’t take away from my door. It was ready to go to put up my new Grandinroad fall garland.
