Faux Boxwood Garden Dog, Casey is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 46.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Topiary dog They continually are made worse each one I buy! Cheaper and don’t hold up.... way too much money for the quality

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Casey He is absolutely darling. I’m going to get a collar and leash for it and when I can afford one of the smaller ones I will get it to go with casey

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This dog sheds too Renamed him Norman the Doorman because he is so regal. Overall, this guy is a statement piece! I have had him outdoors for almost 3 years on a covered patio. His color has faded slightly but the problem is that he unravels and sheds. I was able to fix most of the unraveling with u-shaped craft pins and gorilla glue but the shedding still occurs. With that being said, this guy is just as cute in person as it is in photos and I still want to buy more from this collection. Given the short lived nature from a lot of commenters, Grandin Road should lower the pricing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adorable Big Dog What a cute dog! I bought this for my husband since our two older Labs have passed. We don't have the heart to get a real dog right now, plus we travel frequently, so Casey (renamed Lief by my husband) stands guard at our house! He was a hit and is big, tall, and sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cute! Bought this for outside but thought it might not stand up to our hot summers, looks great indoors and is a real conversation piece!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute but fragile I agree that it is adorable and a perfect replica of our late golden doodle. I did spray it with gorilla glue adhesive spray, and then scotch craft protectant spray, in the hopes of it lasting. I’ll probably continue to respray every so often and hoping for the best! One star deducted because I could already see how easy it will be for it to unravel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great quality I bought Casey, Peabody and Moxie a couple of years ago and have had them on my back deck. I get high winds, but little snow in winter. Hot sun in summer. All of these dogs have held up beautifully for the last two years. My deck is covered. Peabody has his leg through the railing so he doesn't piddle on the wood deck. They are all adorable. I do recommend them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This is the second one I have bought. First one a year or so ago. The first one was good but did get damage from weather. Order a new one and the front legs are too short and it will not stand up. If you bend the legs, it will stand awkwardly and unstable. Loved this dog, very disappointed.

I am interested in the Casey dog but measurements seem huge. Could you check and make sure those measurements are correct?  41 inches wide sounds huge. Thank you.

I am interested in the faux Boxwood dogs but need to know how to clean off as I live in the Phoenix area and we get dust. Dogs would be on a covered entry porch for protected from sun but not dust.

Asked by: Surber
Thank you for your interest in the Faux Boxwood Garden Dog - Casey. These dogs will be best in a covered or shaded area. To clean them simply rinse with a garden hose and set out to dry.

I bought one of the topiary dogs in 2017. I love it! Lately it has started to break down. Rows of the greenery has started to come off. Has anyone else complained of this issue?

Asked by: Ruthie53
I have had the same problems with Casey.  He is unraveling.  I recently bought Spray Clear Gorilla Adhesive and sprayed him all over to avoid any more unraveling.  So far so good and seems to make sense.  He is so cute!  Hope this is helpful to you.

How wide is Casey’s neck?

Asked by: OneSmartCookie
Thank you for your interest in the Faux Boxwood Garden Dog - Casey. Casey's neck measures approximately 18.5" around so a medium sized collar should fit depending on the brand that you get.

Does Casey have a tail?

Asked by: Donna 2018
Thank you for your interest in the Casey Faux Boxwood Garden Dog. This garden dog is designed to look like the tail is tucked under it; there is no tail sticking out.
