Faux Podocarpus Ball is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! After spending a lot of money trying to keep up live plants outside my store, I bought two of these for these outdoor planters. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gardners thought they were real! I bought two of these balls to place in round urns at our entry. They look completely realistic so that I had to tell the gardners not to trim them! They came well packed and ready to use. I highly recommend them to add no maintenance greenery to any part of your yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The size is perfect for the pots on the deck! They look so good on the deck I bought a third one for my bedroom! I do rotate the ones outside so they stay in good shape. I store them in a deck box for winter. I have purchased many items from Grandin Road and they do not disappoint! Would recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice greenery for porch Used these u Dee my covered porch. I only wish they had a stem so I could secure them somehow in urn. Hope they don’t fade but am happy with them

Rated 4 out of 5 by from shape problem received the faux ball and was impressed. Second ball was slightly mis-shaped but managed to plumped it up. Anxious to see how the last since they are outside and receive morning sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real looking! So pleased with how real they look! We put them in urns @ the front entrance, near planted boxwoods. Can’t tell them apart!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific!!!!! Bought two for my Zoey and three smaller for my black urn planters...(can't think of their names but they begin with a "G" also from Grandin Road)..so all together I purchased five in all...two large and three smaller ones....they are gorgeous..and I am NOT (... and I repeat.... NOT) one for faux stuff, but got tired of re-purchasing new shrubs every year because of this very hot and then very cold weather.....I have purchased from other companies for variety, ONLY..GR,make some cypress, boxwood and spruce shrubs an I will only purchase from you guys..... GRANDIN ROAD are the best as far as looks, quality. curb appeal....don't hesitate...you will be glad!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Life like! Worth the money! When I bought these, I assumed they'd look fake and I thought they were expensive...HOWEVER, I am a believer and am buying another one. I have boxwoods right in front of them and you can't tell the difference. I plant things every year and they die constantly so I am now on my third one and get a ton of compiments. Worth the money. Also, they are flexible, almost like a durable balloon so you can jam them into a planter and not worrry that they'll break off. Take the plunge!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beauty without the hazzel I purchased two podocarpus balls to fill my Zoey planters. The combination coupled w a Grandin Road wreath gave new life to my Tudor home. The neighbors love them and I am a hit in my new community

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect accent piece Great quality, looks nice and goes well with the Zoey urns.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks exactly like the photo! The Faux Podocarpus Balls are a little more faux than I'd hoped but they fill the Zoey urns very well and will do for now. I think some of the more summery fillers are a little more realistic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FABULOUS! Don't hesitate on this one! Bought 2 large- love them - color gorgeous, the specific materials are realistic and very attractive. Also got the white ester planters - gorgeous. You can tie them down from the bottom if they want to blow away - easy. (The doggie topiaries, different quality, color off, cheesy, not high quality like the faux podocarpus balls.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and look great in the Zoey Urn! The 14 " size fits perfectly in the Zoey urn! Looks fantastic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Realistic faux bush looks great on porch I ordered two of these faux balls to place in pots I had purchased for my front porch. Previously, the real shrubs that I had planted died and I had yet to replace them. Rather than needing to water all the time, I purchased faux plants instead. These look real, particularly from a distance, and gratefully do not require watering. Also, our porch has a strong wind that tends to damage live plants, so having something like this has been great. It looks good everyday, stays well sitting on top of the pot and no watering required. I may order a couple more to put in pots on the backside of our house on the sides of the garage doors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these! I am quite pleased so far with these podocarps balls. I bought two for my front where I was having trouble keeping live plants alive due to forgetting to water them, etc. They look real and and look great both up close and from the street!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Urn This artificial plant looks so natural and fits perfectly into the Zoey urn. It is so nice to have a courtyard plant that doesn't require any maintenance at all. I will be ordering another one along with another urn. Prompt delivery and excellent packaging.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great purchase Have only had it for a few weeks. Looks great, beautiful dark green color and arrived in perfect condition. Only time will tell if it fades in the sun. It is in an urn in a semi protected area that gets early morning sun.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No way to anchor to urn The quality of foilage is good. However, it's just a ball with no way to anchor it to an urn, so I expect it would blow away with the slightest breeze. Although I was very excited to find something to fill my urns at my front entryway that would require no care while I was away from home this summer, I wound up returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy! I like this for the ease of having it for year round use. Having said that it was a bit on the spendy side for something so plastic.
Date published: 2016-11-02
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! At last! I can stop dragging a hose or watering can around to have boxwoods at my front door! They fit perfectly in the classic urns I bought here - a great look. I'm ordering 2 more for a back gate that needs some love.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faux Podocarpus Ball Love these, look real and are a quality product. Bought a pair for my front porch just what it needed and have received many compliments. Most thought they were real from the street when passing by. I ordered the larger size to fill my white pots which worked out perfect, not too small or too large, just perfect and gives a professional look. These are under a porch roof so no worry about possible fading. Great purchase!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from "Air Ball?" The faux ball is fairly realistic. It's a nice enough product, but there is no way to secure it in a planter. I assumed it would have some sort of weighted base, but it's just a ball. I intended to use it #I bought 2# out on my deck, but I can see them rolling through the neighborhood like tumbleweeds on a windy day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good These look fairly realistic, especially from a distance. I am very satisfied with the quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Choice These Faux Podocarpus Balls are perfect for the containers we already had. We put them on each side of our front door that will soon be getting blazing western afternoon sun. The sun was eventually killing any living plants we put in that location so, hopefully, these will hold up well. Now we have to cross our fingers that the sun and heat won't make them fade.

What size pot should I buy

Asked by: AmyBaby
Thank you for your interest in the Faux Podocarpus Ball. What size planter you will need will depend on how full or over full of a look you want. This item should go far enough into your planter to fit securely. The size listed for this item is the diameter around the widest, center point. So you will want the interior opening of the urn to be 14" or 18" and smaller. We picture it in many of our planters including Devon, Copper Footed, Esther, Lucas, Zoey, Nantucket, and the Zara.

I asked a guestion if a 14" ball would be the right size for an 11" urn. If this works I want to take advantage of the sale. You replied you would get back in 24 hrs. The sale will be over!
