It's a battery operated remote control and does exactly what it is supposed to do. It would be nice if it had a range a bit larger than it has , but it's perfect for the candles.

Why won't remote work with indoor candles?
I have the INDOOR flameless candles and they don't seem to work with the remote? Please tell me this is a fluke and they really do work with the remote. (I have the remote for the recently discontinued flameless candles - that remote doesn't seem to work with the flicker candles)

However, we recently made upgrades to our candles. Our discontinued flameless candles will not work with this new remote, and the discontinued remote will not work with our newer candles. What candles go with this remote?

This item works with most of our flameless candles including our Flameless Textured Candles (147177), Faux Birch Battery Operated Candles (147183), and Iced Metallic Battery Operated Candles (147180). It does not, however, work with our Outdoor Flameless Flicker Candles (154311).
