Sumptuous velvet with a beautiful flowering vine pattern. Nice weight and sheen and backing fabric is soft. Green is a little darker than it seems in picture. It is a slate green.

I can’t wait to see this in my new master suite. The color which matches the color on 3 of the walls, is so restful and elegant. Another wall is painted a deep marine blue and, with the addition of navy and silver accents throughout the room, I’m thinking I’ll enjoy every hour I spend in the room lounging on the velvety softness of my new quilt. Beautiful Velvet Quilt
I bought the green velvet quilt. I've been hunting for a green velvet quilt, and until I saw this one, the only green velvet quilt I could find was dark emerald green, and I was looking for something lighter. It's a beautiful shade of green. Some velvet is shiny and some is matte, and this is very shiny. I wasn't sure if I'd like the shininess at first, but after a few days I grew to love it. The quilt is mid-weight, high quality, and the floral pattern is lovely. I bought the shams too, and together the quilt and the shams make for a really pretty bed. I bought the king size for a double bed that has a very thick mattress that makes the bed fairly tall. The king size is perfect - it allows several inches of my bedskirt to show. I highly recommend this quilt.

Nice velvet quilt set
I bought the green velvet quilt set for my bed this spring. I haven't taken it out of the bag yet, but it feels soft and is a soft pretty sage green. It is a good price for this type of quilt set and I can't wait to put it on my bed.
