What is the external edge-to-edge diameter of the pole assembly? I need to fit this under a table where it would extend upwards through a pole ring about six inches off the ground.

This is extremely heavy-had to have my son lift it, and that’s a good thing! Won’t blow away! It is very classy and looks great with my furniture outside. I couldn’t be happier! I am only looking for high class one time only pieces at this stage in my life and this catalogue always comes thru.

Wonderful stand! Our second one!
We purchased this stand many years ago and it still looks great! Recently we bought another (Grandin Road) umbrella and needed a new stand for it, we knew we’d get another Grandin Road stand. It’s a pretty stand, so extra points there!
