Looks plastic very little fog comes out. Costs a lot more than it’s worth.

Looked very neat with my witch
I couldn't wait to use it when i got it . The kiddos loved it that trick or treat..your house is so creepy ..mailman even liked it. Goes grat with my witch.

NIce mister (steamer) and colors.
We like the cauldron. The mister (thing that makes mist, not a guy) works well. There is a plastic diffuser that brings the mist and color above the cauldron which really should attach to the mister cord or wind could blow it away. Also, how about stakes to lock the cauldron down. Otherwise, nice effect. We use it outside with our own stakes and it looks cool and interesting.

Kids LOVE it!
It's a solid 4. You can see in the pic that it's a wire frame wrapped in fabric, so it's super light. That was initially disappointing, but I wasn't going to have a spotlight on it so figured that wasn't too important. Set it up, and the fog does take a while to get going - and you have to get rid of the clear plastic cover like other reviewers mention. Glad I got it, will continue to use it. I plan on putting it outside for trick or treating, but I wouldn't leave it out.

Love this cauldron
This cauldron was priceless at my last halloween display. I makes the fog, and looks so real. People were in awe when they stopped at my house. It was a show stopper!

Foggy Cauldron is “Okay”
Just tried this cauldron and, despite the comments by many purchasers, I found it to work pretty well, BUT ONLY IF YOU REMOVE THE DIFFUSER. In my opinion, the diffuser serves to contain the minor splashing, which is good, but it absolutely does limit 90% of the fog. Get rid of the diffuser! ; )

The directions do not mention the specific set up. There’s not a line for the water level either. can you give me some specifics?
Thank you for your interest in the Foggy Halloween Cauldron. The large bowl has to first be placed in the top of the cauldron. Then place the fogger unit in the middle of the bowl and slide the cord through the hole in the side of the bowl. Slide the stopper on the cord into the hole to prevent water leakage. You may then add water to the bowl filling it up to just below the stopper in the hole.
