I bought a set before Christmas and really like them. So I ordered another set for another mantle. They didn’t work in that space. Unfortunately I did not read the return policy. I had to pay for the shipping so I was not happy about that. I have bought several items from this company but I will definitely think twice before buying from them again.

we're getting different perspectives on the color of the wood tone on these candle sticks. Are they predominantly on the lighter side because of the white wash or can you truly see the wood tones coming out in person?
They are extremely dark.. It isn't really a wood faux finish.. The "wood grain" are just brush strokes. The white wash is more like a white wax look where it is just in crevices. They are a beautiful finish but closer to a burnt umber than a light faux wood as depicted in the picture.. I do faux finishing so I'm keeping them BUT they are nothing like pictured. I posted a review with 4 of the actual pictures. Beautiful look just a lot darker than pictures and not a faux finish I would call wood. It is what I would consider a faux finish I just don't know what I would compare it to unless I gave you the actual list of materials I would use to achieve it.. Burnt umber with a faux medium is the color I would describe,

You show the iced metallic candles in two sizes with these candlesticks. They come in 3x4 and 4x8 sizes. Does the 4x8 fit these candlesticks?

I used 6" and 8" tall candles that are 3" wide. They look great - tall and dramatic. I think you could go bigger or smaller, depending where you display them.
