What type of batteries do they use?

What kind of batteries are required to power these little guys?
I have these . They DO NOT take aa batteries!!! As Grandin road said they take a total of 3 ag13 batteries each . Make a note of that because it doesn’t say it anywhere on the bat and you will have these a long time . Mine are over five years old and after the first year you will need new batteries. Big hint remove batteries before putting them away for the year

I used them outdoors but the fish line that you hang them from broke with the slightest wind.

Are these weather resistant? We live in Seattle, which has a lot of rain.
They should stand up to being rained on. Maybe a small piece of tape on the battery door which is on the top of the body.

Realistic Bats
These Halloween bats are amazing. I use fishing line to hang them from my partially covered front porch. The bats look as if they are moving with just the smallest wind.The eyes look really great at night. The bats would also look good indoors.They do require button cell batteries, but they can be purchased at many retailers online and in stores. Don’t hesitate to buy these.bats.
