Halloween Bats with Flashing Eyes, Set of Three is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unfortunately I did not have much luck with these bats. I hung them in a tree outside and the strings broke on a few the first week. They looked creepy but I would suggest using them in a covered location if thinking about using outdoors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANG-tastic I decorate indoors and outdoors - these were a great addition to my vampire themed fireplace.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great spooky decor The giant hanging bats were given to me as a gift last year. They are a great size and easy to store and position their wings any way you want. Getting ready to hang them up again this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Batty These 3 fellows will look scary hanging from my tree, both in daylight and at night. The flashing eyes will get the little goblins attention and hopefully a few shrills!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kids Loved Them! Received these bats last week and was very pleased with the product. Haven’t put them up yet but hopefully I won’t experience what the negative reviews showed. Looking forward to Halloween.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Going batty ! These are just great for outdoor Halloween decorating. Very realistic looking ! ! This set was to replace a set I bought 4 years ago which finally wore out. Obviously I enjoy these bats ! !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly assembled Had 2 bats hanging for less than a hour when the filament that attaches to the body came off on both. The same happened to the large one overnight. Weather clear, no rain, slight breeze. Took them down and hoping that hot glue will fix them. Do not recommend them, would not purchase them again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bats w/Flashing Eyes While the product appears to be constructed well, the monofilament line that is attached to the body of the bats breaks easily once hung. The lines that are attached to the tips of the wings seems to hold fine. I've tried using Super glue and hot glue to re-attach the line but it keeps coming off. Product needs to be re-engineered to come up with a better means of securing the line to the body of the bat.

What kind of batteries are required to power these little guys?

Asked by: Cathy
I have these . They DO NOT take aa batteries!!! As Grandin road said they take a total of 3 ag13 batteries each . Make a note of that because it doesn’t say it anywhere on the bat and you will have these a long time . Mine are over five years old and after the first year you will need new batteries. Big hint remove batteries before putting them away for the year

Are the batteries on a timer so you do not have to use an on off manually?

Asked by: Candis
Thank you for your interest in the Halloween Bats with Flashing Eyes, Set of Three. These bats have an on/off switch and do not have a timer.

Are these bats suitable for outdoor?

Asked by: Anonymous
I used them outdoors but the fish line that you hang them from broke with the slightest wind.

Are these weather resistant? We live in Seattle, which has a lot of rain.

Asked by: Anonymous
They should stand up to being rained on. Maybe a small piece of tape on the battery door which is on the top of the body.
