The website says the mat weighs two pounds, but it seems to me to weigh two ounces. It's not even heavy enough to lay flat. I couldn't imagine displaying this outdoors, lest the slightest breeze blow it away. You can't "wipe your feet" on it because it will slide all over the place. It is far too light weight and thin to function as any sort of door mat.
