Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gift item, unique decor Purchased 2 of these as the price was right and very happy with the purchase, made a special hostess gift and is a unique decor item in my home. I only wish I would remember to use it regularly to park my phone, when I do I find the phone easily without having to call it from my landline.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hands Free Assistant! Great for hands free activities...typing, cooking, crafting, you name it. Holds the phone/ipad so it frees my hands to do what I need to do. Hold a conversation, face-time, watch - stream what you wish. Purchased 1 for office and went back and got 2 more for kitchen and ???? Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Facetime Been looking for a "helping hand" to hold my phone during FaceTime. When I graduated to an iPhone X, my old stand was too small. This works really well; It's cast in a heavy-ish resin but the base ensures it doesn't tip over. I don't have a tablet, but I think this stand will work with one. When not in use, it's looks like a timeless standalone bronze sculpture... you don't realize it's a phone stand. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Low Tech Ever Have had this for at least 9 months and love it. I'm finding that I like to keep my daily jewelry on it too to hold for temporary safekeeping. It's kind of a quirky detail that people notice after a second take. I love that little bit of surprising element.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How to get a hand up, in life! So, I am always battling with my phone, either trying to find it or trying to keep from dropping it or trying to not trip over the cord when it's charging! I saw this and thought it would be "handy" no pun intended! I do like it and it works well, even with my popsocket extended or collapsed. If I have a con, it's the fact that it's bronze and I needed oil rubbed bronze in order for it to fit in better with my decor. But as far as functionality and style and it being well made - no complaints. I added rubber tabs on the bottom, so that it wouldn't scratch my furniture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly helpful! This Helping Hand is both visually pleasing and extremely practical. Its substantial weight doesn't tip over, and its height is perfect to allow for viewing a phone screen. It is exactly what I hoped it would be!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love how it displays I initially bought this for myself and it sits on my nightstand. I absolutely love it. So much that I bought for a girlfriend and she likes it too. I'm actually contemplating a 3rd one to put in my office. It's just so convenient and looks good too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helping hand I bought this over a month ago and just love it! Besides holding your phone up or sideways, it's hands free for chatting for sure. It could also be used as a jewelry holder, rings and a watch or bracelet. It's well made, very attractive and I am glad I bought this!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from unique and useful I just received this today, and I love it. It's nice to have my phone, with an online recipe, in front of me, instead of on the countertop. I have the helping hand setting in front of an outlet, so it hides the phone charger. A nice improvement would be to have a slot in the ledge of the hand to feed the charging cord through. No biggie...just set the phone upside down in the hand until charging is complete.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new helping hand I really wasn't sure that this product was going to be my solution, but I'd give it a try. Well guess what? It really does the trick. No more stiff neck and shoulders. I can read my messages and text without looking down constantly, thus I save my neck and shoulders. It was worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and Useful Cool statue / iPhone-IPad holder - all who see it, comment and want one! Very sturdy - resting "ledge" is wide enough for typical case. Great height/position when sitting in front of it. A bit pricey, but very worth it. Well made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE IT! I ordered this back in August along with a pillow, the pillow came and the hand did not. Instead. I got an email saying it was on back order. I finally got the hand (I almost forgot about it) right before Thanksgiving and I was very pleased! It has a good weight to it, not flimsy and it's a great way to keep my kindle in the kitchen, not laying on the counter. It was worth the wait.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Idea I love this! I carry it around the house with me. It holds my iPad recipes while I cook, holds my iPhone for face time, plays my favorite Netflix movies while I work on the computer and much more. I even use the raised fingers to hold my rings. I might have to get a second one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I saw this phone holder in the catalog some time ago. Then realized I wanted it. FYI Grandin Road, I searched and searched on line and could not find it. Happened to be browsing thru the catalog and was pleased to find it! I ordered one, loved it, promptly ordered a second to use at work. My visiting son then expressed interest, so I ordered a third! When not in use with electronic device it makes a nice display for small art objects or pretty cards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy It is truly a “helping hand”. Works wonders when I ‘m cooking and looking up a recipe online. Just prop the phone on the hand and off I go. Good conversation piece too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Idea I really like the helping hand, it works well and looks good on my table. Although I received a few laughs when people saw it, the end result was that it worked for me.

Will this work with a charging cable and is it wide enough to fit the iPhone 6s with a thicker case?

Asked by: Soul Rebel
Thank you for your interest in the Helping Hand. This is big enough to hold a tablet so it shouldn't be a problem to hold a phone with a case on it.

Where on earth do you stick the cord? On most devices, the charging cable plugs into the bottom. There doesn't seem to be a niche cut into this holder to accommodate the approximately one-inch long connector tip. Does the holder charge the phone itself?

Asked by: Lynell
Thank you for your interest in the Helping Hand. This item is designed to hold your phone or tablet, but it is not designed to charge your device.
